Phantasm
Jonathan Walls Oct 2018
A phantasm to cloak my sorrow,
A subtle refuge, solitude can't follow.
This world conjured from a forgotten hope,
place without errors, I cope.

Translucent visions of your smile,
Voids the consternation of our trial.
This ethereal plane in which you exist,
Grants me clarity to disperse the mist.

Lucid dream adopt my soul,
Where my affection, a beauty has stole.
Slumberous, I pray I'll be forevermore,
For it's only here, I am what you adore.
