The truth I hold, took years to unfold,
locked up & never told
Now I speak, for I am done being weak
about the man I said was a one night stand
'Cause I wrapped a cast around my damaged heart
& signed it, "I wasn't *****"

It's strange how a few short seconds
Can lead you in a whole new direction
It alters how you think & act,
& see your own reflection
From a single moment on,
My life was forever changed
Like everything I previously knew,
Had suddenly been rearranged
I can go to psychiatrists
& spill out all my thoughts,
They can prescribe me pills
& say that I've been taught

But I still think about that night,
When I couldn't find the light
In the bathroom so I peed in the dark
Cause I was too drunk to figure out a light switch
Little light shined through the cracked door
Cause of a pair of boxer shorts on the floor,
But I still heard the creaking of the door
As someone behind it pushed it forward

I pulled my jeans up & flushed my bladder,
My foggy eyes looked up, his mouth watered
I reached for the door, but his hands wandered
For my waistline until he pushed me against the washer
His other hand slid up my shirt
& I thought I had stopped breathing
I pushed my hands against his chest,
& his mouth crashed against mine too fast
My mouth started bleeding as I pulled
My lip from the metal braces of his lower teeth,
Tears stained my cheeks before his fun was over
His strong hand forced my head below his zipper,
As the other ripped the button free

I envy that button

I'm not the same person I once was, hate to break it to you. I'm stronger now, more than I have ever been.
I'm not so insecure, nor am I skittish and frightened by others. I can see through lies and I can read between the lines of even the best of con-artist. Jokes on you, I'm not so easily tricked anymore.
The wool can't be pulled over my eyes the way it could have been before. I no longer fall for the sweet charm of a snake, so if you know what's best for you.. Try your cards on another soul who can play the string puppet to your game of ignorance and stupidity.
I see sunshine through the rain
I gain power from my pain
No more running delusionaly deranged

I'll put my hopes in faith,
And my head on straight,

Cause I got my baby back
esophageal flames.
shots of whiskey with a bleach chaser
on wednesday where the sky is clouded over
and the strays stick close to the watering hole.
pepto becomes water
to ***** the fires from within
while the alarm clock blinks 12:00
because I haven't set the time.
Rain, rain,
go away
Come again another day
I want to go out and play
But inside I guess I'll stay

Rain, rain,
pour down on me,
Wash away my sins, relieved
restore the faith in my beliefs
Now alive, once deceased

Rain, Rain,
Keep falling down
It's been a while
Since you've been around
Won't you please soak the ground
Of this dry and boring town

Rain, Rain,
fill me up,
Satisfy my feeling of "Not enough"
Make soft the callouses
On these hands that felt so rough

Rain, Rain,
Won't you come more often
Make my heart soften
Along with the Earth
Thats been trodden

Rain, Rain,
won't you come more often...
It's a rainy day in Dayton, Ohio.
I saw a woman today,
She was mysterious,
The Lavish red lipstick
accenting her
black-lined blue eyes
the air of perfume
Mystique,
Unknown to me the taste
Of breath,and lavender
I fall forward into her aura
This pale skinned beauty
Shook me to my bones
And her scarlet dress
sent the waft
Of affluence and European vacations
I'd never get to have
and it made me shiver

She raised a cigarette
With a gloved hand
to her lips and took a drag
This grace,
This angel of a sinner
Looked at me and cocked a perfect eyebrow
Peered round the rest of the party
and asked if I was going to keep staring
Or buy her a drink

I bought her a drink
Out of all the dust, and floating debris,
How did gravity, draw you to me?
Were our atoms made, in the same star?
Is that why I feel you, no matter how far?

It's that force, that binds us together
forever and ever, no matter the weather
We'll stand together, through it all
When the sun rises and the ocean falls
And when the tide comes to wash away
All the things we'd never say
And the names in the sand, in which we made
Encircled by a finger-painted heart,
Two people, not even God could keep apart

I just blame it on the gravity.
<3 I would like to thank all of you for reading my poems. I know I don't do that nearly enough. Thanks for all the love. <3
Scream at me
Tell me that I’m ******* worthless
Because that’s All I want to hear
Abuse me
Leave welts upon the surface
Of my skin
Because that’s all I want to feel
Tell me I’m a fake
Leave me with mental scars
And bruises on my heart
The one that you managed to steal
Lash me like a slave
Treat me with disdain
Give me all the pain
I could never take
From anyone but you
All I want to feel
Is how bad you treat me
Lie through your teeth
Dance around the truth
I can’t take this ****
From anyone but you
An endless cycle of mental abuse
But thats fine by me,
Because it's plain to see
You're still the other half of me
And I'd be lost without you
I'm sorry for the pain I've caused
And the tears you've cried
With my name tattooed
In the streaks they left
Upon your pale skin
Every sob engraved into a calloused heart
That knows nothing but
Malevolence and loneliness
I'm sorry...
