The world is written as one
The ******* is your neighbor
The lesbian is your friend
The Arab is the man driving your bus
The ex-con is the guy who made sure your kid was okay when they fell
The black woman is your teacher
Hate is not something you are born with, like your mothers green eyes
Hate is something that has been brainwashed into everyone of our heads
As children, some parents tell that not to stare at the men in the dress, or the girls holding hands because they think their children are not mature enough to have a 30 second convo
it's as easy as "he likes dresses" or "they're in love like mommy and daddy"
because those kids are going to grow up to think that  those actions are wrong and that they make the person less than a human being because they are gay or trans or black or Mexican or female
but at the end of the day
we all bleed red
Has anyone seen Leslie Brown?
She went missing earlier today.
A stranger in
A strange town,
Who probably just lost her way.

I’ve quizzed, enquired and questioned,
Almost everyone I know.
To be greeted by
A shaking of heads,
Puzzled expressions that say, ‘sorry, but no’.

Has anyone seen Leslie Brown?
I was meeting her at three.
She’s an Internet friend
Paying a visit,
I just can’t think where she might be.

In despair I checked with the police.
“Leslie Brown! Why yes: come when you can.”
When I arrived my
Cyber-space sweetheart,
Is not a lady, but a cross-dressed, ******* man!

We live a life of secrecy,
It is not our choice,
Society makes us outcasts,
Some do not accept us,
Others judge us,
We are true to ourselves,
We were born this way,
We are gay,
Lesbians,
Bisexuals,
Transgender,
*******,
We are drag queens,
We are weird,
Different,
Original,
We are true,
No one can change that,
Whether they judge,
Scream.
Yell,complain,
Or refuse us,
We will stand tall,
And we will be strong.
I too am bisexual.
Confliction,
Deception,
Introspection,
Retrospection,
Contraception,
Reflection,

Who art thou?
Who am I?
Who are you?

Bicurious,
Heterosexual,
Bisexual,
*******,
Demisexual,
Asexual,
Homosexual,

Alone,
Joined,
Separated,
Unison,
Loneliness,
Together,

Rambling,
Scrambling,
Galloping,
Struggling,
Basking,
Scattered,
Are My Thoughts.
Of a conflicted mind.
Go ahead say it again

your foolish lies my foolish friend

for you are obviously hurting

inside so you hurt me to, to gain some pride

say it again my friend

and I will pray for you tonight

In the heartbeat she gave me,
would i give all to thee
once more.
We pride ourselves on being ‘America the Free’,
But how are we free when a he can’t marry a he?
Homosexuality is found in over 90 species,
but homophobia is only found in one.
If you want to blame someone, blame the straight people.
They’re the ones who keep having gay sons.
Not one Disney princess is a lesbian,
Not one superhero is gay.
Not all girls want a prince charming.
And not all men want a heroine someday.
They say, "Love is blind."
So why are we so blind to fact that love is love?
What has America come to that we’d rather see men holding guns, than holding hands?
Until recently, in the US military, admitting that you’re gay, had bans.
Homosexuality isn’t a disease.
You can’t catch it, and you can’t cure it.
Please.
Tiger Woods can have 19 mistresses,
Britney Spears can have a 55 hour marriage,
Kim Kardashian can get married for publicity,
But GAYS are corrupting the institution of marriage?
Closets are for clothes, not hiding.
Let all the masks confess

Shame the world

Let the bowstrings

Of love confuse them
