Check the print on any of your fingers,
nobody else has the same print as yours
The patterns on your retina was
designed specially for you

God took His time to craft you and
when He finished, He called you Beautiful

We as a society need to match onwards
leaving hate, greed and jealousy behind
Why spend billions preparing for wars
while millions of people are living in poverty
Segregation & division isn't the way forward
Let's hold one another's hands in harmony & sheer unity.

I've found a friend in my notepad
It listens to every word that's on my mind
And it never interjects me when I speak
I tell it stuff that I couldn't tell no one
And it hasn't for once revealed my secrets
(at least, not that I know of)
It knows so much but it never judges me
It allows me empty my heart and
as thus keeps me calm
Thanks my friend for being there all the time.

Instead of speaking ill of one another
We could help each other heal
Instead of going for one another's throat
We could help keep each other afloat
Instead of oppressing one another
Could we consider upholding each other
The beauty of a puzzle is seen when
its pieces are put together rightly.

When the society says to a hurting man...

Hey dude, you've got to man up
You cannot let them see your pain
They mustn't see that you're hurt
Don't let them perceive you as weak
You've got to mask how you feel
and show them that you're strong

Hey society, this is where you're wrong
A man is also an emotional being
Those kind of words weaken him even more
You shouldn't make him feel incomplete
What he needs is a warm embrace
Tell him, it's okay to feel how he feels
How he feels doesn't make him less of a man

Dear society, let's learn to uphold our men.

We have only 26 letters in the English alphabet
And we've been able to and still continue
to weave them and knit them into
astounding poetry, short stories,
song lyrics, love letters and more...

So, never think that you are not enough
Because with what you have, you can weave
and knit yourself into who you wanna be.

I've seen grace overrule unmet qualifications
I've seen grace speed up promotion
I've seen grace overshadow flaws
I've seen grace open up unexpected doors
