Brian the snail
Turbo fast
Entered races
In Every race
He came last.
Raced the tortoise
Raced the sloth
Kept on racing
But still he lost.
Brian would race
With a sluggish
Smile
Lost to the hare
By a country mile.
Brian the snail
Raced
Ellie the elephant
You guessed it
He lost
but at a price
Brian was duly
squashed.
They retired his number,
Number seven
So Brian the snail
could race
Again in heaven.

I recall a
A year given
To
Travelling,
It was a
"Get over a breakup thing"

The first thing I learned,
Wherever you go,
There you are

One time at
Nigeria falls,
All I could think
"If only she was here to experience this with
Me"

But hey, I don't do sad
Well, not for long,
She just wasn't for me,
Just took a while
To see

One day
That
Sadness
Just leaves,
Like snowflakes
On the
Breeze

they said,
Dreams are alternate realities.
different realities.

is it true that dreams are our realities in the parallel universe?

because it feels..
.. so real.

Grant him this night
For he longs for the cold embrace

As he lays haphazardly
In a universe seemingly displaced

Swallow whole
And serve nothingness like you once did

Cast the black
For he’s all ready and intrepid

the maze

All this time,
I believed I got it.
I believed I got better.
I am stronger and smarter.

But when I looked at myself,
it weakens my knees that everything inside my head scribbles.
There is a way out of this maze.

I turn into poetry, a clairvoyant
who can only define why I have to get out before the clock strikes twelve, and it takes hard work to get out
I needed to plan. It is possible.
Poetry guaranteed that all I needed to do is to use my senses
to put the pieces back together and find this one way out.
