She told me it was her heart

Something was wrong with it

That she needed to see the doctor.

She said that everything would be okay

And not to worry.

She’s really sick now

She can barely breathe

I tell her not to give up

To keep fighting

Keep pushing.

To look death in the eye and tell him to stick it where the sun doesn’t shine.

She laughs

And tells me that when it’s her time, she’ll know

She thinks it’s soon

I’m not ready.

Leave me here
On the floor
Reaching out
Wanting more
Watch you leave
Through that door
From my soul
My love, it poured
I called your name
But what's that for?
As you left
My heart had tore
Because you are my lover
And I was your war
Find yourself, before you let others into your life.

Kisses were stolen among the
Shelves of the  library

The spines of books the only witnesses
to clumsy yet ardent mouths

They watched, standing as silent sentinels
As we fell deeper into the web of each other

Strangled to death but buried alive
By love's strong arms
Would you rather have Toxic gas
Or no air to breathe
As the one you love is the last
Face you'll see
All or none, life or death
Kiss me slow or take my breath
For i am not ready to see
The end.
