I am spitting up universes
-like Kali- all destruction,
eclipsing the deceit of the Sun.

I will consume
the stars until I am pregnant
with the possibilities
of a new moon.

I am the keeper of secrets
-Like the High Priestess-all feminine,
divining the wisdom of bones.

My body imbued with the
spirits of indigo promise.

I will some day
leave this story
And like the birds
I shall inherit the wind.
Made some revisions that I am happy with. An older poem. I am in an entirely different place now.
Do we dare dream to fall?, to fly... to go crashing through the bedroom door
Where we tumble and roll and slowly lose all of our clothes
Lost under the sheets we ride shooting stars
Circle the sun in the blink of an eye
Catch a glimpse of eternity inbetween the beat of our hearts
Do we dare turn the page and find ourselves living a storybook life
Hopes and wishes blooming like flowers all night and all day
And when we read between the lines we find a love so perfect it's almost cliche
If we dare to sneak a glimpse and skip to the last page
Would it be a black and white classic of two aged hands holding a heart that still beats wildly and madly and impossibly in love
Dare we..
Rainbows in the night sky, pathways to some mystic plain of existence. Northern lights dance and dip through the vast open darkness. Like a divine ribbon being played by a child, it tosses itself too and froe. A spectacle to be observed in the waste of cold and unforgiving lands. It reminds the heart of what wonder can be. Opening the imagination to tales of the divinity of our origins. Mattering not what you may believe those to be. It sings with a voice beyond the ability of human ears to hear. Serenading the universe as it billows round the northern sphere. What a wonder the northern lights are to see.

Today I walked in from work
Making my way throught the strange and quiet house.
I couldn't understand when I walked into my room and saw you snuggled in my blanket
My bed has never looked so warm and so inviting
Your red hair spilling all over the pillows
Cascading into the shadow
I laid down fully dressed
Laying there in a dream
You are evreything that I will ever need
My best friend
pocketwatch
rain cloud
kissing booth

So strange to see your lips agian
Pursed and perfect
Red stained Beautiful

All so warm and simple
Not like the others
Her whole life is sweet and gentle

You can watch the parts of my life you touch
Turn away from the stoney lonesome
Your vines, your ivy, sweet smelling flowers
Wearing angel soft petals bloom in the pale moon

So what is left for me?
What more do I need?
I have my "Shelter from the Storm"

So
a long tired kiss is in order
on sleeping lips
soft and unkowing

Curling up in the warmth next to her
The flower wrapping her warm petals about me
I need nothing else in this world
As I begin to drift off into sleep so complete
A rustling on the bed beside me
Warm lips touch my ear
I hear her breathe "thank you"
and like that she left me there

I wake up alone
On this old couch
Sunlight creeping in through the broken blinds
In this trash apartment
In this nowhere town
Sober
