There's a rhythm
To our breaks
A momentary pause in our song
There's the words gone wrong
That still skip on the beat
          A stone on water

There's no hinting
To a hidden truth
Just a shard of words
         Written in red lipstick
So someone reflects
         Between each s p a c e
Today was the morning like other days
but I cannot focus my mind just strays
the empty bowl stings with dull pain
like her would be none ever again!

I light the gas and look around
for her purr’s faintest sound
seek in air a long known smell
silky caress of a raised up tail!

Two deep blue eyes don’t beg of me
to love for love given freely
morn’s kitchen is only grey
where she haunts from yesterday!

These winter days she craved me close
if I refused lap sighed morose
softly spoke her petal face
I wouldn’t ever love you less!

She hid her away when strength failed her
beyond all eyes to quietly suffer
not let me know on what sunrise
dreaming of me she closed her eyes!
I'm heartbroken at her loss.
sun when slips down west
sky is pink-a-blush
day makes merry-home haste
dies in sullen hush

my eyes dreamily follow
not the meridian star
but in the dusky glow
the flock's flying far!

how they rush together
in twos of clinging pair
ahoy a home is there
waiting in all weather!

the ones roaming on south
run home way down north
leaving their hopes to sprout
on the sunrise coming forth!

the northerners fly to south
end of day's toiled roam
hoping surely no doubt
finding there a cozy home!

Tell me their chirping words
as they fly over head faraway
it's time to pick up the shards
piece them to build another day!
If you are happy,
you're in no position to judge those who are not.
Likewise,
if you are not happy,
who are you to judge those who are?
They, who walk all over others
are always suprised to find themselves toppling
when the treadupon manage to drag themselves out from below them.

If you are among the treadupon,
as we all are, in one sense or another,
seek to assist they who find themselves toppling
despite it all.

We're all in this together.
Tread not upon others, nor allow thyself to be tread upon.
"Neither a borrower nor a lender be."

Seek not
to put thyself ahead of others,
nor to put thyself behind any other,
but, rather, to establish
that every individual and group
resides firmly upon an edge
of consciousness-
of transcendence-
of philosophy-
of experience-
of happiness-
of progress-
of Life.

That is the path we,
as the Human species,
must take if we are to quell the sadistic demon
known only as "Humanity,"
and transmute that energy into something we've long since forgotten-
if indeed we ever knew it at all.

This is a challenge
to cooperate and transcend cultural bias.
This is a call to action,
and that action is an end to intentional war;
political, economic, religious, social, and personal.

This is a plea
for us to seek edification within ourselves and everyone.

Rise to it.

listen to it.

Empathize.

Don't stop until it's done,
and, then:

Dark Jewel
Standing here,
In the battering storm.
My heart corrupt,
Fighting to hold on.

Across the ocean,
Where you watch.
Your hand extends,
Reaching for my touch.

Your love is stronger,
Than this weakening storm.
I feel like holding on.

My hand extends,
Entwining with yours.
The storm ends,
And I'm in your arms.

I love you..
It's stronger than any storm.
You help me hold on.
For my love who I love the most. To brighten his day <3
What ails us from knowledge
the flaw of being wised
is having less and less
things to be surprised!

Why bamboo groves creak
occurs ghost light
puppets can speak
stars fall at night!

How sun paints a rainbow
moths can make silk
summer sky is aglow
with whitely flowing milk!

Seems such a loss
death of ignorance
by effect and cause
hardly making sense!
One of the great joys of Life
is doing what One is told can't be done-
thinking about what One is told not to-

I enjoy finding out first-hand
what's up with our reservations
then scrutinizing rationalizations.

I, for one,
refuse to respect mere appeals to authority
without some sort of prerequisite validation:

For far too long
have we gone along with being told
we must hold such toxic philosophies
so very close to our Hearts and Souls
by what is eventually revealed to be
rather disingenuous authority.

"If your Spirit feels a little sick,
just keep suffering through it:
that means it's working.
That's how it's been set up.

If you can't stomach it,
we made these pills for that.
Though, they'll cost you.
The price One pays for biochemical placification is steep.

Side-effects include but are by no means limited to:
a loss of health, wealth and even parts of your Self;
but please don't worry. It's for the greater good..
Don't you want to be under control?
After all, it is all you've ever known,"

as they **** People dry
even in broad daylight-
body, mind, and bank account-
for their own economic, political, and social sustenance.

What is that if not a form of a form of vampirism?
The infected bites on our necks are metaphysical.

Demons in Prophetic clothing,
but I guess they dress for success.

See,
I try to look for Light
where others say there's only Darkness,
but I also see Darkness
where others see only Light.

Interpreting Adversity as Opportunity
works wonders for creative problem solving;
learn how to entice your Imagination.
It will pursue things on it's own if you let it.

Your intellect will thank you for the playmate.
A bit all over the place, but hey.
Turned into more of a rant than I was planning, but that's life.

This is not an attack on Religion or Medicine,
but merely a finger pointed at corruption that taints the sanctity of these and other aspects of modern western society as they are commonly instituted.
My blank, unwavering sky
Against your whispers
Soft, illuminating

The sun closed up it's face
To let the night keep up it's deadly pace
We were without light
Without time and space

Age has pulled the skin
Tight across our bones
Accept the daily loss, the wins
Those smiles sunk us like stones
