’m not here
To judge the world
I’m not here
To make pretend that
I have all the answers
All I know is that
What I feel is real
I’m not here to gain your attention
For my reward solely comes
From above
And It does not come
To  fill my ego
It does not come
to make me famous
Or win the race
It comes
Solely to filled my heart
By setting free
All the pains inside
The gratitudes
The hopes
The darkness
And the light
All that was meant to be free.

coloring inside the lines is impossibly bleak,
with a hissing noise
atomic locomotive
rounds the bend,
extrasensory perception is not
a mindless gift,
it's a train station in the clouds,
tracking all my starting points to you,
nothing in the middle,
nothing at the end.

you leave in opera
with secrets and grievances
under the radar,
and your ready-made
wings catch in the power lines,
you're coiling like smoke
in the arches of my cathedral,
a sense of elegant decay
while sweeping up the debris,
committing arson
with the paraffin of my temporal lobe.

yesterday's fairground waltzes,
ghosted lullabies,
and woodland hymnals,
set in a context not of
resolution and closure,
but of contradiction and assimilation,
break the bond,
away they float on purveyor belts,
one too many molecules,
one too many departures,
always on the surface of everything,
nothing in the middle,
nothing at the end.

My window of
tolerance is
more like a peep hole.
My comfort zone has gone
to hell.
They say, fight or flight;
I tend to freeze.
I miss the easy
days of youth,
when everything was
green and serene.
The cicadas and bobwhites
sang me to sleep.
The fields and streams
called to me.
I dreamed of
fish and candy
and the perfect girl.
I smelled love and
tasted simplicity.
I pray someday,
my window grows

Looking for a lady
That can promise me a bond
That is a friendship
A love that is a relationship
Prayers that lead to a lifetime of commitment ship
To help me forget about all my hardships
A kind heart
To propel me to a kingship
If you’re indeed that girl
Show yourself
My  soul will recognize instantly
and
My heart will have no choice
But to love you
