Treat of rich, airy goodness
Lacquered with butter
Flaky crust, honey comb core
Golden brown crescent
With honey or jam
Taste of nuts
Crunch!

Twenty-seventh Epulaeryu! ^-^
Who doesn't love a good croissant on their downtime?
Just a sweet classic treat, especially when its fresh out the oven
I especially love it with a spoonful of honey, though having it with jam is great too!
Br back with more soon!
Much love,
Lyn ***

Twenty-sixth Epulaeryu! ^-^
The Pâtisserie collection continues, haha!
Crepes are a guilty pleasure of mine.
Personally, I love mine with some lemon and honey.
Powdered sugar sprinkled on it with some berries on the side.
And the best part is that they can be sweet or savoury!
Br back with more soon!
Much love,

Bottom heavy, firm to touch,
summer flushed round cheeks,
pleasantly pitted. Stripped ****,
swerve curve, mellow flesh
deseeded. Cubed, served
papaya.
Sweet!

Yum!
10/17/2019 - Bon Appétit ! Poetry form: Epulaeryu - A poem that is entirely about food. It has seven lines with a grand total of thirty-three syllables. The meter of the poem is set so that it is, 7/5/7/5/5/3/1.  The poem is supposed to revolve entirely around the dish. Each line is supposed to present information about it. The end of an Epulaeryu poem ends with an exclamation point because the poem itself is about the writer's excitement and enjoyment toward the dish that they are writing about. The final line, the one-syllable word is meant to sum up the feelings that the writer has. The Epulaeryu poem is a way to express these positive feelings about food and is a fun way to do so. - Copyright © Mark Toney | Year Posted 2019 - Bon Appétit !

Twenty-third Epulaeryu! ^-^
These cookies are THE BOMB! Firm, fluffy, soft, sweet with
vanilla and orange perfectly blended!
They say these are usually for Easter, but the Greek lady
said that she makes them for any and all  occasions!
I was led by my nose, and saw them with sesame seeds on them.
They were all in pretty shapes, too! So I had to get a few.
What fascinates me more is that apparently, these can be dated back to the Minoan civilisation of the Bronze Age - another thing the lady told me.
A society that has had my interest for a while now.
Learn something new everyday!

Twenty-second Epulaeryu!
Ok, I know there are two variants of this cake, the Turkish one and the Greek one.
I've only ever had this once (the Greek one) and it was really lovely!
I'll try the Turkish one eventually!
