She's a leaping high five
with her feet planted firmly
on the ground

She is a crescendo of sound
and emotion . Puts her finger to her lips and shushes me .

She bathes in moonbeams while
tantalizing stars knowing
their touch is too far

She hides behind the clouds when
the sun burns . Capturing the rays and
hiding  them in kelidoscopic jewels she wears around her ankles so she can see
where she walks on moonless nights

She teaches fairies to dance in rings
and in return becomes the dance instead

She's the Cheshire's smile that
disappears on the wings of a firefly

For once,
I smile both outside and in,
I wear an honest grin,
I'm comfortable within my own skin,
For once....

For once,
I'm happy with where I'm at,
Smile like a Cheshire cat,
Ornerier than a army brat,
For once...

For once,
Happy as a clam,
Feeling as woolly as a lamb,
More mysterious than Spam,
For once...

For once,
I'll simply say adieu,
Give my best wishes to you,
Got lots of living I wanna do,
For once...
Sometimes I forget to write when I'm happy too. :-)

Wonderland has an alleyway you know,
said Alice to her grandson of three.
It's not all shoes, and ships, and ceiling wax,
unbirthdays and cups of tea.

Where the white rabbit is on time for once.
From South Africa he ran,
To be tried before the red queen -
for shooting Mary Ann.

It's where the buildings are not simply filled
with cakes and cups of tea;
They explode - not from happiness -
but planes and TNT.

Where we need not paint the roses red
nor support the white knights plight.
For recently he lost his head -
Now they're painting England white...
