It’s better to sit by the sea
As I look upon the face
Of my life I see
The light shining so brightly
Bringing hope and love
That needs for me to be...

Walking beneath the stars so bright
I smile, Oh do you hear the cries
For better tomorrows
That this spring will bring....

Skating beneath the loneliness
This night of nights
Keeping in ancient lands
Never dying fires of life
Against the raging light
My heart is so laden
With heavy thoughts....

My mind lets go a million hearts
Of love and life lost
But to see the wonder of it all
To see the loves of many to distrust
The slender of the fall
The winter of time is gone
To make our souls
Grow strong
I need a silent night to make my own ....

I need this lonely night
I need the man I miss most
A sweet high of love
To hear an angel’s voice
To hear above the chaos
With a silent life....

To find the love that is so special
Spring is so near
It's a midnight clear
Reminding me of what might be....
