Poems
Feb 2021
la petite mort
and then she reached for me
buried her fingers into my back
searching for an escape from sorrow
searching for wings that would never grow
for they have abandoned me
like how gods abandon mercy
for a single sin that would cause me ecstasy
is a sin I shall do for long
until death, I feel her skin
embodying the grace of her soul
her name bears no resemblance
to a person I see and know
the peak has come and go
cash has gone and flown
she left, but left her soul
and this little death shall come no more
