Why
Why do you stay,
when all I bring you is pain.
What is left for you here?
What do you have to gain?

I have taken everything from you,
all your hopes and dreams.
I have taken most from you,
including that smile that gleams.

I don't understand why you stay.
You refuse to leave my side.
I will ruin you eventually.
And deep down I've already died.

So why do you insist?
Why do you wish to stay.
You know what will happen.
The end is all you delay.

I see now.
I know why you won't leave.
It's because deep down inside you.
You still believe.

You think I'm able to be saved.
You think you know me like a glove.
I want what you want too.
I want to know I'm loved.

But nothing I know can be stopped.
I am on the edge of insanity.
I will end my pain.
I will save your vanity.
