As it outbreathed the same yellow light,
The street light purposely hid a smile,
I watched it once, I watched it again,
Smiling it was stuck, crying I walked a mile.
talking to the streetlight just outside my hostel room window in the third floor in my last day in college.

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust
Call this assurance if you must;
But when it's time to say Farewell
To one you love, it's just plain hell.

There are no words, no healing balm,
To fill the void, to ease the calm;
And not a thing that one can say
Will drive the quick hot tears away.

We look upon the empty chair
And seek the one no longer there;
And so heartbreaking is the pain
We question if we'll meet again.

How grim indeed, if death should be
The Bitter End--- Eternity;
Just some vague dream conceived by Man
And not a part of any plan.

But God has taken such great care
To note the sparrow in the air;
His Love alone can cover all
And Mark a simple Sparrows' fall.

And if he cares for the birds that fly,
then he must hear My Anguished cry;
"Dear God, I yield my grief to Thee
For Thou alone can comfort me."
To Everyone who is struggling with Grief

I watched the snow descend to earth
Attention sought as flakes give birth
Submit to all her majesty
Surrender clouded canopy

A freezing fox that runs across
The curtilage wild turkey's toss
A lofty oak tree hides raccoon
Two fledgeling birds lose their platoon

The strapping deer takes off in flight
See squirrels flee with all their might
An Owl concluding calls of whoo
The animals know too eschew

All happens when the snowflakes fall
Am spellbound by one flake or all
The memory each one contain
Unique like us and our domain

Snowflakes and animals I see
We all are different you and me
Is random chance its proximious?
Creation not dichotomous

Am thankful I could see this view
And freedom too believe it's true

the clouds might be gray
and the sea may be too
but nothing's as bad
as when i'm not with you

those 3am thoughts
those 5pm tears
with darkness ****** upon us
and lightness bled to white

notes left on chalkboard
and tears with no flight

no message
no call
no facebook acknowledgment at all

you want to stay friends?
that's all?

no hello
no goodbye
no, hey are you alright?
i was stupid to think you'd call
we aren't even friends anymore

Soon after the sun has
Gone away the sky
Doesn't sleep neither
Do the memories,
Tinkering at the wires
Of my brain.

like two shadows intersecting,
we were flawlessly connected
I embedded my emotions into
every conversation
but time took us apart like it's
own creation
leaving me without you.
we face the sun but we cast separate shadows.
