If poetry sites
never existed , would we
even write poetry

If you only got
one like or one heart would you
still write poetry

If you were never
reposted shared or trended
Would you still write

------

None of those things
above matter ,writing should
be enjoyed by oneself

A Thomas Hawkins
Never fall in love with a poet
for their words are sometimes lies
on occasions they're a shield
on occasions a disguise

They will take you on a journey
upon which they bare their soul
in a bid to ease your burdens
in a bid to make you whole

But in every word they choose
for the stories that they tell
lies a little piece of heaven
and a little piece of hell

Tormented souls we poets are
sometimes quite broken and despaired
in search of lost expressions
missed by others who once cared

Never fall in love with a poet
unless you're prepared to share their pain
to hold them close on the darkest nights
over and again

We come
We go
The pain we know
Of leaving the familiar
Faces
Places
Where traces of past life intention
Let us let go of false possession

Time is short
Do not resort to staying
For the slaying of our presence
Brings forth a new essence
Of progression
From past strife regression

I wish so hard I could split like knife
My body into miles of fragments
To serve the many that I love
Like a dole of doves
Raining peace from above
Now that is a future I see fitting
And so it will come

For when I am gone I will be but energy
The air you breath will cause our synergy
Where my hands fail now
They will touch your memory
And we do not forget

So let go
If this is true
Of what is not yours to take
For the universe will discover the way
Just as long as you surrender
And remember to say
I love you

.
Your flesh lies in your grave,
my ashes fly on the breeze.
And our Ghosts intertwine,
link-haunting through the trees.

Ethereal energy in ivory white,
wraith-like tinged in blue.
Mist shroud figures wrapped
are the Ghosts of me and you.

You call across my aeons,
your shade is next to mine.
I reply within a veiled second,
deflowering the ***** of time.

Forever conjoined fog-twins,
eternity is our lust to save.
With my ashes on the wind
and your flesh lying in a grave.

I was sad  so sad
To see you go
Sad to hear
That whistle blow

I saw you sadly to the train
Knowing I'd never see you again

Another Lost love
Another Lost love
No farewell kiss
No tender hug
Just a heart of pain
And a waiting train

Lost Love Lost Love
Love Lost Lost Love

We hadn't long together
We changed just like the weather

As your train speeds away
There's nothing more to say

Another Lost love
Another Lost love
No farewell kiss
No tender hug
Just a heart of pain
And a waiting train
