It can start and stop at any moment
Always appears to be moving forward
It seems to slow down speed up or even stop
It lasts forever but is always running out
It’s always coming and going but not back and forth
Never up never down
But usually good or bad
The news it brings can be wrong
But like the rain is always right
It’s the moments between the ticks
That brings in the light

darkest of hours
counting minutes to seconds
torment me forever

I feel a sense of loss not unlike an aching

Near or far the sense of familiar loss is there
feeling as though I am there with their fears
Of loves hopes dreams loss and despairs
Like I do here now and with me everywhere

J never have time
To catch up on moments lost

swirls abound, glacier retreat on full display

Red stains on my back
dangerous passion, scars me,
same sharp clawed woman
ripping, tearing, and mending
