bleak november skies
cold winter death soon arrives
corpses covered white

stadium beating
breathing to pink's magic band
pigs floating above
lasers dancing in my eyes
driving backwards towards home

Bo's clay fell today
the little palm print in laid
my boy, young again

I'm gonna be ready
Planning my words as I speak
when you start coming
back around again, see me
getting straight thoughts not yet said

snow slowly melts
falls this time faster
then ever did before

                    life is always fleeting
                    counted days decreasing

take time to sip
from her swollen rivers
now in springtime flow

         along tides now rushing past
         enrich your soul in her bounty

life's quiet moments
the ones between your sips
those worth cherishing

can come in rushing tides
when you least expect such peace
on the currents of melting snow

following always
behind, tripping as I go
straining eyes looking
just a glimpse of you would do
forever around the next bend

Yellow green pollen
Swarming  the butterfly
She brushed them onward
To there final resting place

slowly dawn fades
misty valley floors appear
the morning dove calls

bounding up rivers
jumping boulder to boulder
heart beating harder

screaming cannon *****
echoes deep off canyon walls
cooling water falls

ancient healing pools
washing away the week's nerves
nature's secret spa

fire inside
sweet relief out
but the pain

rustic sealed purses
slit open, sea water in pearls
succulent beauty

light appears
dark secrets laid bare
awakened

hurried drums beating
as time's tempo quickens pace
the cymbal crashes

What woeful look I see?
Mapping trouble, all is bare
Ease them onto me, friend

you hit me so hard
never really been the same
sledgehammer affair
mindlessly loving you since
ignorance is bliss, thank you

rainy day music
puddles keeping rhythmic beats
time perfectly kept

morning hue
shining silver dew
always new

Life simply bursts to life overnight
here in the land of the midnight sun
knowing it has no time to waste
as the first frost is never far off

Nameless places on
Featureless maps
Leaving your troubles
Behind and with
Nothing laying in front

Am I less man then other men
For writing feelings thoughts of
Love lost of trusting others with
Thoughts put to pen

Did you have somewhere to be

when the oil lamp is put away
