The moody piano played
The man stood crying in the shower
she closed the door quietly behind her

after you exhale
there’s a tiny pause between
me breathing again

The fear is not living, though some do
Nor the fear of living life alone, that too
The fear Is dying and being buried alone,

suicidal heart
leaving, reckless abandon
taking mine with yours

circles with stars surround mars
what was I smoking

keep me in this light
walking this darkened pathway
towards morning sun

Wild hearted woman
turbo diesel *****, sin
in heels, long legged
sweet striding thighs high stepping
heels caving me to my knees

darkened graveyard
in breezes spanish moss sways
casting shadows

the vessels corrupt
but it's cargo so divine
women children first

calm slowly descends
upon placid glacial pools
bald eagles huddle

Cloud crossing high
So the peaks cant reach
And disrupt the sky white display

The land,  midnight sun
No rush, masters,  long nap, then
Chase the light till eleven

still the same
beneath weathered eyes
your smile remains

forever alone
calls fall upon empty ponds
only wind replies

fresh aspen growth
wafted on cool mountain air
hints of coming rain

thousand voices riding light
flashing across human networks
human ether connection

My kids think I'm rapping
When I put thoughts on a page
My kids think it's weird
How I put my thoughts on a page
My kids think it's crazy
Why I even write my thoughts on a page
My kids think I ripped
Whose thoughts on a page
My kids think poetry is gay
Until they read my thoughts on a page today

Something haunting in the tone
of a wood pecker on a hollow drum
It echos in an empty heart

tracks all ripped apart
where trains rolled and chugged across
taking us places
only kids dared dream, wild eyed
with smokestack clouds whooshing by

When you finish with me and have torn it all apart
then you will finally see what I have said from the very start
I never even had a dark side of my heart

the air between us
fills with anticipation
as the heat rises

ding **** cart
rockets and popups
free delivery

we all stop out there
the very end of the line
walk an honest path

swimming, sailing, skipping
ebbing, flowing ,rising, falling
water breaths life

Sincere thoughts collected
Shared in our souls highway connected
Love Across all the oceans

terror in falling limbs, crashing
forests of decayed life, growing
a chanterelle, golden, bursts free

I bit my tongue through
holding back,one basic truth
I can't not love you

Music box, broken again
Another sad man, played C seven
Maybe, him there, crying

bird of prey majesty
soaring past magical peaks
rocky topped mountains
over great rivers, wide plains
reminding all, freedoms cost

we eased in back doors
then I carried you threw the front
we're still opening more
