Time speeding up, every second, faster
Barreling at break neck speed , recklessly
Unavoidably spiraling out of control

Red stains on my back
dangerous passion, scars me,
same sharp clawed woman
ripping, tearing, and mending
this fragile, sensitive heart

If words could ****, yours would have buried me.

saw you this morning
glancing bright vanity light
you, laughing, crying,
smiling, eyes dancing across
featureless mercury face

my conscience went streaming by
in the mouth of a giant king salmon
the sheer audacity in eating my fly
consumed with fresh squeezed lemon

When your mind is closing in  
with the fears of any day.
A moment is required
to continue on your way.

When your body decides to quit
from the weight that you choose to bare.
A moment is required
to consider what is fair.

When your heart is aching
from all it's breaking
and you just can't go on.
A moment is required
to remember God's only son.

To put it all in perspective
and decide on a whole new look.
Take a required moment
to turn the page or maybe
try a whole new book

no thinking allowed

he painted today
just another masterpiece
late evening skies
beautiful blue border blurs
ominous orange clad clouds

his brush knows color
naturally gifted strokes
created with such ease
countless shades never ending
signed by artist with much love

sun bleached and wind stripped
Mans ill intent, sand blasted
Blinded  eyes tearing

Pretty sure I’m gonna die
Seems it’s inevitable
God, what aisle are breadcrumbs on?

autumn leaves
birch trees

Cardboard hopelessness
across from the coffee shop
And she with no sleeve

goodbye angel
taking earths light away
as darkness descends

Galloping down the beach
Crashing waves startles me awake
It’s  Chance the pup chasing a wind blown leaf

Time to remember
All of those that became us
we will meet again

The sockeye swim in suicidal ******
while I with my eye
ever on the other side
of life death and massive gorges
hop among their bright red hordes
trying in vain to keep my feet dry

peaceful spring meadow
warming sunshine embraces
heavenly earth

time and time again
you never cease to surprise
waking me again

rockets and popups

Imperfections make beauty
Like an ideally placed dimple
on your perfecty dimpled face

hello sunshine
you always brighten my day
and warm those cold nights

The mountains dark but the sky is all aglow
Beautiful purple pink and indigo
Winter retreats to the furthest pole

Everything tastes like you
Last nights cheeseburger, this mornings eggs
Cherry tootsie pops are the best

snow falls slow
gently from above
soothing thoughts

light on the edges
highlight mountain tops of gold
morning alpenglow

heartfelt match
endlessly searching
two as one

When I read a good poem it feels so familiar
Not my very words but similar
Not in that order but of that cloth
Similar in mind similar in thought
Not words stolen just words caught
by a likewise soul telling all of us what they long sought
Validation he is not alone, mental, or bought
But words in this order with this thought
are exactly as he could want and got

same small town corners
new high risers stealing light
encased concrete trees
droop in neat civilized rows
southern charm, sanitized, canned

Forever you should, know my love
I forever have loved, you should know love
This forever and ever, please know this love
Should you ever go, and not know
My forever love, you now know
Love, signed,  your forever love

Hot tin roof rain dance
Mile long waves crashing in
Water rocks me asleep
