hello sunshine

Not my very words but similar
Not in that order but of that cloth
Similar in mind similar in thought
Not words stolen just words caught
by a likewise soul telling all of us what they long sought

late evening skies
beautiful blue border blurs

his brush knows color
naturally gifted strokes
created with such ease
countless shades never ending

Hermit ***** new digs
Rattlers shiny new diamonds
We all want new looks

This word they write
I think it is a misprint
it's
a-R-t-i-s-t-i-c
so ignorant

heartfelt match
endlessly searching
two as one

same small town corners
new high risers stealing light
encased concrete trees
droop in neat civilized rows
southern charm, sanitized, canned

blue windswept tides
pelicans align to ride
skittish bait fish dive

faded field
once vibrant color
dyed brown

oh, you'll never know
someones own painful journey
walking hand in hand

light on the edges
highlight mountain tops of gold
morning alpenglow

Cardboard hopelessness
across from the coffee shop
And she with no sleeve

scene flashes, brightly, sparks
single moment, perfect, light
found you, framed you, forever

filled with hope
empty glass of wine
lipstick stained

stunning spider web
dancing her tangled trapeze
she gently moves in
striking precision hits home
paralyzing, my heart beats

capital beauty
majestic white  rotunda
where freedom still rings

From a peak of light
Just beyond that indigo hill
He shows love golden hope good will

Everything tastes like you
Last nights cheeseburger, this mornings eggs
Cherry tootsie pops are the best

looking different
experience in contrast

in obtaining gratitude

Yep, slightly passed middle age, hmm,mm
but in good health body and maybe mind, I think
at least I keep straight my back
I'm certainly no elder sage
but I still will not step on a sidewalk crack

That sweet devilish smile
Wrapped in sweetened blood red lips
This Fire burns deep inside

Sunday morning coffee run
Car rolled smoke up ahead
Lights flashing blue red one dead
