A crowded room, I just dance, finding solice beneath the mask.
Friends they chatter laugh and squee, every one enjoying humanity.
Pulse is racing, words they vanish I can't stand this.
I wish I could join the crowd and interject some interlect.
Instead the panic steals the magic and now its to late, oh woe is my fate.
Stuck inside my own head, is it time yet for my bed?
Slip away quietly drinking my sobriety, hoping that next time my courage will win and I can finally play my part, instead of dancing in the dark.

Thought is a boat
on the oceans of mind.
Waves, the emotions,
flow and ebb of the tide.
Curiosity steers the rudder,
Imagination the sails
billow by winds sigh.
Stars are interlect
for the sextant
there to guide
The elements are senses
influenced by outside.

My boat sails forever
upon this deep blue
drawn by the current
in servitude to you.

Imprisoned thoughts finding freedom
within the damaged mind
mind not what they say
nor how they say it
speaking clearly with hijacked tongue
tongue tied and muted
fear gives new voice to old words
words hasterly spoken
drawn back
upon the lips like an unstrung bow
piercing retorts
and sharpened interlect
rend away the facade of common descency
allowing profanity space to breath
rank rancid epilogues becoming epitaphs
upon a soul trapped
within the confines of anothers understanding
of morality
long dead arisen the medicated zombie wakens
and a new day dawns
follow not the path of the poet when his words
are not his to command
and yet they command your respect and your derision

Reptiles the pathfinder of humankind
Come from quagmire cognitively blind
Claws become digits, hind legs took on knees
There eyes looked forward, they wanted to please.

From upright gaite he saw his first sun rise
Walked towards horizones enticing skys
Began to gather, his perceptive root
To plant his rational, interlect route.

Grunts become recognised vocal conduits
Which co-operate with reasons pursuits
For eruditions ultimate clarity
Wisdom works for familiarity.

Knowledge deciphered in words to provoke
The birth of conscience a central yoke.
