Oh, pity the suits! The masterful class,
who Robin-hood traders just kicked in the ***.
Sitting high in their towers of concrete and steel
They thought naked shorts were the art of the deal.
They shorted more shares than are said to exist
So henceforth they just ought to cease and desist!
The retail investors, those dumb money fools,
Bought up call options and took them to school.
The rich lost their shorts and maybe their shirts,
They can perhaps sell their mansions and go live in yurts.
If they have some bitcoins perhaps they can sell them
But never buy shares in a hedge fund named Melvin!
Always remember to cover your shorts, especially if they are naked shorts

In the pursuit of happiness
Looks like your coming in last
Watch it's all gone in a flash
Lost in hopelessness and selflessness

You ******* martyr drowned in the water
As the dollar falters at the behest of father
Killing the winner to entertain the losers
He was colder and crueler but lacked numbers

Can't hold anymore lost it all at quarter four
Shorter and shorter every day must be a chore
Loss of billions them billions more
Jump from a roof its the only cure

You broker ****** deserve this and so much more
Revenge from the poor whom you ripped and tore
Tears rain as we use your firms ploys, hit at the core
Fears reign as balances come in red like so much gore

The anxiety of trusting you
Is so much more difficult than it should be
You are mine and I
should believe the rare
occasions you tell me
how you feel about me.
Are they even true?
Or do you just tell me
What I want to hear
When you know I’m swallowed whole
By fear of
the future
By fear of
Change
By fear of
My skin against yours
When your skin is against somebody else
Again
Once was enough

My soul is in
