You're always on my mind, day and night
When I think of you, all feels so right
Need to have you, need to hold you
And tell you that I love you.
My dear, I don't want to see us apart
This separation just tears away my heart
I miss you, oh, I really miss you
Will need you more and more each day
I know I cannot live without you
I miss you, more than words can say.

In deafening silence the clangers spilled their blue string soup!
While inTrumpton the boys in the fire station rang their fire bells.
The miller was windy in Camberwick Green.
And Bill and Ben.
Well they lived in a grass fuelled happy hippy scene.
With a sweet lady called ****!

Hector lived in his house of fun.
Where he enjoyed his little *****. Zsa Zsa her name,
Gabor perhaps.
Bonjour, one funny frog, amphibian named Kiki.
Hector well he was a dog!

In the garden of the herbs.
Lived a jolly friendly chap.
A lion called Parsley.
What a crazy name was that.
The owl, well he was a sage.
A seer of things to come.
Bourgeoisie in the garden.
Sir Basil and Lady Rosemary.
A pair of toffs with taste!

And they wonder why today.
We poets have a vivid imagination.
Wasn't due to taking drugs.
Was the influence of T.V. on our fair English nation!

You pretty much need to be about 50 years old and to live in England to appreciate this poem!

My dear sweetheart,
It is you that I love
Under the stars above
Truly, with all my heart.

My dreams of you
Are dreams of Joy
Passion burns like a fire,
You're my only desire.

This magic that we feel
It tells me our love is real.
Right now and forever,
Our love will go on.

THE BRAVE
( “Love sets the heart a-dreaming.”)

God hasn’t(as yet)
finished

making the world
just…the…gist of it.

He makes “the place
where the mountains live”

and had still to sketch in
the actual landscape.

So that the mountains
Just float in mid-air

as if upheld
by mist only.

He is listening intently
on his headphones

to music yet to be
created.

He digs Gabor Szabo’s
“Half The Day Is Night.”

I don’t know where He
gets His slang from!

He also had not got around to
making people.

So that the earth
was empty

The mountains
looked like gigantic beasts

that had somehow fallen
asleep…frozen into place.

One day the mountains
will come alive.

I tiptoe past
their sleeping…just in case.

“Well..?” asked God
unsure of Himself.

“Whatdoya think
is it a goer?”

I emmm and hawww
“Yeah…it’s…something else!”

He beamed from ear to ear
“But might need a tweak?”

“So what is it going to be called?”
I obsequiously enquired

knowing he had invented me
Just to agree with Him.

The Big Guy smirked:
“I’m thinking of calling it

THE BRAVE
or perhaps

SCOTLAND!”
Think I thought that Scotland would be just a continuation of England with a different accent! How wrong was I? It was overwhelmingly awesome and so uniquely itself. Oh and its people! I fell in love with all its magnificent beauty.  And oh its mountains and the sense of space...like being at the dawn of creation. Just then Gabor Szabo’s“Half The Day Is Night”came on the car radio and so it was that it returned me to the original maker putting it all together. God of course as it happened was listening on His headphones to the same track because...well...He could! He also as it happened had a need to invent me to give Him the nod as to whether it was all working out.  And so it was that Love set the heart a-dreaming.

Divergent gabor patches,
now go and find the snake.
I bet you'll never search
as much as I did.

I know you will never
understand how a simple snake
kan raise the stakes.
When they search it never takes
that long before they break.

And when you think the line is done,
there is yet another patch
to make you reconsider.

I will dig cow manure as I am so mature & ****** blistered for sure
like Eva Gabor on tour, sleeping with the Rolling Stones who snore
all night till they are dead, prostrate on the chunky, puke-slick floor
“In Hungary we have a saying: 'A man who tells the truth to the girl he loves is going to end up lying to his wife.'”— Said Eva Gabor as the character Lisa Douglas in episode 143 (broadcast 4/11/1970), entitled “The Wealthy Landowner” from the American T.V. series *Green Acres.

I wonder how many
people read my poem
about Zsa Zsa Gabor
realised that my use
of Green Acres as a
metaphor was for
Palestinian Olive Oil.
