Brown sugar sapotas
Blending with custard alfonso mangos
And bold sweet lime juice

Georgette saris
Pairing with uncut diamond necklaces
Mixed with peals and rubies

Gently sloping palm trees
Swaying in balmy sultry air
And hazy golden sunsets

Frenetic yellow autos
Competing with dusty zipping mopeds
Mixed with ambulating pedestrians

Aromas of cumin
Blending with the sewage
Other times with incense

Glows of brass oil lamps
Singing in hums of prayer
Added with turmeric's incantations

Brightly-patterned salwars
Accentuating gemstone bindis
Comfy fitted leggings

Savory masala dosas
Coupling coconut chutney
Meter-high filter coffee

I live my life the way I want
and I don't care what others think or chant.
Accept me or reject me.
I am shy, I am humble and I am kind,
but harsh and blunt may my enemies find.
Accept me or reject me.
Many call me bigot and fanatic for passion I show towards my religion
but i don't care, I am ready to defend it in every season and in all condition.
Accept me or reject me.
I am an introvert and live mostly on my own,
that doesn't mean I am unfriendly and to my friends its known and shown.
Accept me or reject me.
I like Dosas, biryani, nehari and chicken fry.
but I am always prepared for salt and roti dry.
Accept me or reject me.
I am no saint, I do mistakes and then I regret,
but I am always ready to forgive and forget.
Accept me or reject me.
I try to speak the truth and sometimes it is very sour
I will continue that way, whether you declare a war, or put me behind bar.
Accept me or reject me.
I keep my distance from disco, cigarette, girls and liquor, that's not my way and that's not my style,
for which my friend's make my fun, but I ignore them all with a smile.
Accept me or reject me.
This is my story and this is my tale
It is for you all, and it is not for sale.
Accept me or reject me.
I love my prophet(pbuh) and I love Allah,
I am Muhammad Asadullah.
Accept me or reject me.
Accept me or reject me.

He need not bring us luxuries,
As he never failed to fulfill our needs even without asking;
He need not be taking us on holiday,
As the quality time he spends with us is more than enough;
He may not take us to restaurants often,
As his handmade dosas never fail to taste delicious;
He may not be fashionable and trendy,
As he never judged our fashion sense;
He need not give us valuables,
As he gave us enough value education;
He may not be by our side always,
As he taught us well to stand on our own feet and to face the society;
He may not hold power in the community,
As he earned immense respect with his kindness and ethics;
He may not teach us how to make money;
As he never forgot to teach us how to save it;
He may not work in a reputed organization,
As all he care about is his family and not money or his career growth;
He may not be expressive,
As we can witness it in his actions;

He may not be anything as he is everything for us!!
And admiring his contribution may take my whole life.

I may never express to him how much I admire him, care for him and love him;
But one fine day, I will convey him how much his happiness means to me through my success.
Not all heroes wear capes—some wear simple shirts, carry the weight of the world silently, and smile when you succeed.
This is for him—the father whose love is unspoken but deeply felt.
The one who gave us everything while expecting nothing.
One day, I’ll show him what his silent sacrifices meant—through my success, and my strength.
