“Love: an emotion, one that, so low as to bar
From fair desire—self-righteous and self-serving
Excuse, a pretense, lyric, will not inspire.”
I detest to hear him speak—
Adulterer, why, pray tell, do you prey upon the weak?
“Simple in answer, as simple in method. No heart
Rich needs to beat for “that” emotion obsoletes.
Adults, mature, do not even think the distinction
That is kid’s table morality, what mommy
Only says after a few drinks, winking, your father
In his eyes—just where you have come, in fact—
You needn’t think mommy and daddy stayed together
After long spats, strife, and frustration for their waves
Struck the same height or the moon hits mom just right.
It is not the eternal enthrallment of Eros that keeps them in motion
Dear, friend—it is “that” emotion. In bed, hearts
Are inverted and split down the middle
The negative just drowns away in chemicals.
But how bad we’d feel, (no?) if that, the long and short?
Machinate the “thing” justify “that” feeling
Ennobling, beatifying, kindling for sonnets and odes
Fashioning morality and aesthetics onto sweating
Thrusting beasts, one on one in their dance of love.
A harlequin of truth, my friend! When it is found
In contraception, safeguarding our natural predilection.
Ha! Oh, fools! Why trouble with the rituals
When, really, ****** collocations concern capricious
Chronologies and covetous craving for **** and ****.
How ******! How crude! But, oh, but oh how true; think:
Admit the urge has primacy, the “L” emerges and
Lies emitted: of connection, intelligence, intersubjectivity.
Given its stage of farce and face, our sieves are at
Ageful capacity and then needs a bargain, more;
The office of “thing” goes unoccupied, its twin
Will gladly keep it clean and orderly, act
As it did: gentle and cordially.”
Blast it! Such ways in truth and walk, for
Repetition in faith of life
Pegs my myths with all their strife,
Strife and succor irony.

Too much sadness for one mind,
too much thoughts to actually realize.
The beauty in our souls,
And the world within our minds.
Soft spoken, blurry scenes, a sad ditty
Yet to the tune we make our steps
One before the other, one behind the other
One together and one with ourselves
Through various chronologies,
The wave of life we defy, uncertain.

Half a step brings us closer
Yet our routine takes us further
Our actions bound by the divine book
And the underdogs we identify .
Slowly, insanely, terrifyingly slow
Our heartbeats rise as one seperately.
We sing at our campfire, far away ,
And again and again and again
Through various chronologies,
The wave of life we defy, uncertain.

With our plucked wings we fly
Soaring across the dirt beneath us
Looking up at the great whites,
In a sea of vast blue and Arcabaleno.
Yet our reflection we see, truth disguised
A humble tree, slowly withering it's leaves
Yet the fruit if passion it blooms
Enough for our mundane hands to reach
And through various chronologies,
The wave of life we defy, uncertain.

the folds, the tether-lines gathering
securing linens whipped and filled
by a wide wind
it sweeps my memory in white
noise, throwing the sheets, the chronologies
of a life into air
and I am left wanting.
running my hands into the folds,
the pleats of cool pressed cotton
running my hands down the pleats
again, just to feel them
the reassurance that they are still there,
for my fingers to glide over
in a given moment of luxurious ennui.
the pleats are snatched up in
thoughts nimble, quick, and grasping
again, just to feel them
a habit to drape
to clip against a line
(to blow in the wind)
in the folds.

This one should ruffle a few feathers...
(think of it as a rant of righteous indignation)

you'll have to pardon my pragmatism but the Bible teaches about two kinds of people, sinners and sinners who are saved.

God never "said" I Love you and if you believe that Jesus was the son of God, died, rose again and through Him we have eternal life then the rest is up for conjecture.

i believe we are all poor examples of the gospel

                          prove me wrong

               "pride cometh before the fall"

Yeah there's those who walk a tighter rope but the rest of us just hope the net doesn't break when we lose balance and collapse from the weight of our own worlds.

Ever pondered the thought that Lucifer never asked to be here either?

Speaking of, how bout those Fallen huh

Lemme know once you see the connection.

And since we're on the subject of our humble beginnings...

It was a literal 6 days, how do i know?

"Adam was 120 years old when he begat Seth"

And don't even get me started on the flood.

If you cannot believe the first book then the next 65 are just bedtime stories.

Here's one, how long have we been here?

                5783 years (give or take)

                             Want proof?

Read the Bible again, only focusing on chronologies,
Matthew 1:17 is a good start, you can pick your version, even king james had to rely on the Masoretic text.

(you'll have to read some of the Apocrypha to fill in the 400 year gap between testaments

How 'bout a stroll around the lake?
ya know, the place where Hell goes
(as if it wasn't bad enough)
Now thump on that and bite your tongue if an interpreter isn't present.

See there's only 3 kinds of sin:
(why were we born into it?...epigenetics)

- The unforgivable.

-  The breaking of the 2 commandments.
(Which Christ was so kind enough to reduce from 10)

- and the ones man has laid at humanities unwashed feet.

*here's just one example

"You shall not make gashes in your flesh for the dead, or incise any marks on yourselves.”

(It was ritual bloodletting)
Yeah but thats old testament right?

By the way did you know the word tattoo wasn't introduced into the Bible until 1914 AD.

Which leads me to this.

"He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so."

Read it again, did you notice?
That's a dangerous precedent.

And stop with the "trials of Job" first world Christian privilege problems already.

Now if preachers preach and teachers teach then why are they still standing in the pulpit?

And for all those propagating prosperity.
                      you have your reward.

Now you can see a few of the reasons why i choose not to proselytise, why would i drag someone into a burning building?

For all the newbies to the fold, if you have any questions, ask God, because nobody here seems to agree.

And im gonna save myself the trouble of having to reply to any of those who's shadows have betrayed them.

you are angered.

but not with me.

go seek your peace.

And cast your stones elsewhere.
