For the first time in a long time,
I can say that I feel free from expectations,
free from limitations,
and myself.
I can feel the seasons changing,
and it's been a while since
I've seen the surface.
Felt the sun kiss my skin
and heard the wind whistle melodies
as it grazed my ears
on the way to the mountains.
The whole world is aching –
I know, but the rain never cared.
It reflects a time
when man was primal;
before he had a right to fear.
The rain whispers to me, 'I love you.'
I love you,
and I am not afraid.

I want to be captivating
I want to be bright
I want to make you laugh
I want to bring tears to your eyes
I want to have something to offer

That doesn’t fade with time

Still water
resting
at the
bottom
of a
Pacific ocean
tide
pool,

reflections
of you
in my
mind
in the
Sunday
morning
light.

sometimes
I can imagine
I hear you
laughter
carried in
harmony
to me
on a
a salt-kissed
circling
wind.

and I
sit for
a moment
and smile.

I always
smile.

it is
a giving
thing that
you do.

your gentle
manner
of truth
and innocence.

I can always
feel it
there in
you eyes...

you are

where
good  poets
go to
die.
When love fades like a breeze
When time refuses to stop
When all I need is a gentle reminder
Of life and happiness in one
And that one is you

When the rain reminds me of you
When the sun shines on your smile
When the night let out the moon
As I let my heart roar for your embrace

Life is made of sweet moments
But all we need is the courage
To accept the sad ones with the same heart
That accepts the happy ones

To be able to smile with the same intensity
When there is no reason to keep smiling
Because in the end, we all pray for love
To keep it alive and in us
And not let love fade like a breeze
