*Cold*
adam poems Aug 2015
We are cold here,
in this desolate living room -
4 years during which we have not moved.

And therefore are we invisible,
like each molecule of water in a stream
over the course of 10 miles and 10 winters.

But again we feel the cycle,
at its tepid termination;
the darkness will engulf it all -
only to give rise to a solitary seed of light,
from which another cycle begets itself.

And so, through this dark path,
we remain watching,
aloof yet aware,
in the corners of the musty air
in this forgotten home.

my daughters deserve a daguerreotype;
daughters of the quietest mind-
their philosophy matches that
of the finest 19th cent. Gents
and whose morose morals lead the anarchist
internal world to unabashed victory
triumphant horns play
never ceasing, playing their song
a song of short stature
but repeated evermore
signals the triumphant okay-ness
signifies the oncoming entropy
greyscale geniuses grunt
as they
march in melancholy,
moribund but never malignant
crying casually, callously chanting
for the monsters to take hold in the dark,
only to find the dark monster
has had them in her grasp the whole time
the jazzy genius, jesting jubilantly,
with wilting wit, whispers
“wow”

i'm dead
adam poems Oct 2013
eat me, green man
give me sweet electric snatches of
the past
writhing within my favorite intestines
lies the last vestige of love
in shallow acid waters lies
my only hope
twist my brain, please
in want to lay in insect-covered
beautiful pastel field
where They are;
creatures tear my couch body apart and
unzip my sanity
at what expense?
None, for the universe will and already has
ended
you are imagination you young ol' boy
all the anger has been decanted
from my withering figure
but He still runs along
whats left of this physical phenotype figure?
Squirming shaky awkward confused
hollow rope

psalms of the never born
adam poems Oct 2013
we sit in tacit sunsets
upon mountains made of filth
that society left behind
to fulfill their vapid dreams

a story never started
but dying to be ceased
we stare into the eye of bliss
but only see the void

in search of boundless golden truth
we march on through the dregs

no fear is here
antiquated anxiety abounds

the walls breathe our name
in determinant prophecy

we wait
for the stars only

we watch
sick and lonely

promising future becomes drowned
by unveracity's sweet nectar

in a vestige of truth we reside

one day
in a realm far away
we will awake
and the throne we will take

O, alien queen of the unknown subconscious
I give you my control
I give you my mind
But I shall keep my soul
your face becomes mine
and I see your smile of gold
when I look upon myself
I see your eyes many fathoms away
fluorescent blue
in the most beautiful hue
you are the one who makes me crazy
take these walls and breathe the breath of love through them
and let me experience your smile
of the golden eternity
just for a little while
please be forever
my spirit becomes drained
and I begin to go insane
I feel the swelling of pain
start to form in my brain
the demon within
fights his way out
I see all my kin
in the palm of my snout
O beloved one
let me stay with you forever,
teach me your ways
and give me your face

— The End —
