There's a buzz near my ears,
The windows are open.
I feel the tinge of pain,
It seems to never fade.
My stomach is empty, my heart is full.
Maybe they should switch positions.

A ring made to him.
Plea made to him to help me?
But Pride comes to play.

Green hair, blue car, broken song;
thoughts of the day.
The fake sounds of the rain,
entangled into the real sounds of the electricity,
as the night continues.

Everyday I lay,
Hoping that she will love me;
But she walks away.

So I listen to the buzz,
and feel the pain.
There is nothing left to do,
except wait.
With the hope that one will comfort me,
As I lay awake.

A rainy road,
A passerby,
A deep breath,
A smell of Rot,
A dumpster on the side.
Or was it a person,
who had just lost
their pride?

Life is a straight line.
You see straight ahead and you keep going.
The grass is green and the sun is shining,
All the cars around you are driving in their own lanes.

Life is a straight line.
Yet the lines on your palm make curves.
the grass is yellow and there are clouds covering the sun,
the lanes keep curving and your car can't keep up

Life is a straight line.
But you can't even walk in a straight line.
the grass has died and the sun has set,
the left turn you made cost you your soul.

Still, life is a straight line.
why are you trying to change that?

Every day I wake up
Ready for the normality
And as I climb I wonder to myself
Where is my stop?
When can I rest?
Maybe after the next step on this endless staircase
But I keep climbing
Because I’m scared to see how far I have come
And how much is left to go
Everyday as I climb
Wondering why I didn’t stop to see
The damage continues
I am left Behind.
Yet I continue climbing
Hoping that one day I reach a platform
Never realizing that it doesn’t exist.

I was alone in the abyss, searching far and wide,
Its smile shot to me like an illuminating light.
I tried to grab the beam but there was a voice that said
Darling the beam isn't real, just ask for it's hand.
And out it came a hand so so bright
The darkness surrounding was consumed by its light.
The colors I saw were vivid and clear, all I needed was this hand to wipe away my tears

Alas the beam couldn't wash away my sins, I needed to see more and was consumed by greed.
It's human nature, it's our need. I wanted to see more of you, from the abyss I wanted to be freed.
The hand pulled away with such might and such speed and told me it didn't want to mislead.
I begged and begged but no matter my plead, I was gray and it was bright, it couldn't mix with my creed.

To the hand now I say, why did u illuminate my night to day.
If I had never known the brightness of the colors, the world around me would've remained gray.
Now as you slowly pull back your beam I ask in dismay, as you go please take this pain away.
