I hold my line
I hope he holds his
we are fantastic creatures
holding this existence between our teeth
we juggle sorrows and joys
we welcome angels and gods
we touch lightning rods between our fingers

you cannot stop us
we evolve
slippery as fish in primordial waters
we are the bearers of a new age
and we will love
each other
and you

I am not holding back
this stampede
I welcome it
I am absolved
in this desire
this annihilation
is my salvation

gratitude is appropriate
he chose to be a lesson
allowing others the chance to meet their heaven
to be shown their path to joy
he reaped no sweetness
expecting nothing but blame
playing the messenger of others' pain
the light does not shine on him so I will turn mine
to acknowledge
with all due respect
each life has it's place

my lips do not tire of kissing you
my skin will never tire of your caress
my mind is entranced by your thoughts
my heart is a dense dripping sponge
trailing sweet juices and desires
love flows free and soft, escaping my shell of light
absorbing into the fabric of space
I will never be sated of you
even as I supersaturate existence with this loving

there is much to accomplish in the desert between oases
You’ve lifted me over the moon; I RISE, another day has dawned.

Some blossoms open at night, reminding us beauty can be fleeting
Let that pass for an eternity.

Each day invites us to embrace the full experience of living;
Take a chance on yourself.
ignis fatuus  has brought gifts; wary the light shown
if only I can define a meaning in this dim experience.

In the surreal embrace of dreamscapes,
Countless thoughts swirl within,
I hardly believed I was still breathing,
Born amidst the shadows,
Where the earth's riches await discovery.
My blossom shines its own light for me, for you.

I break into this world, to live for today.
