Para hablar contigo,
C'est comme parler,
In così tanti,
Diversis linguis.
For anyone that's curious,
The first line is in Spanish,
The second is in French,
The third line is Italian,
The fourth line is Latian.

Celine
Everything is in questions.
Your words, your actions,
my mind.
Endless questions blaming you,
blaming me.
Leaving a mark on my heart.
Whilst you’ve moved on with scratches
I’ve ripped myself apart,
still clawing onto the injuries you’ve engrained into my skin and soul.

I hate to love you

Celine
My mind is burning,
burning up all memories,
destroying all truths I held into.

I needed the calmness of the see I recognize in your being,

in order to extinguish the devastating fire
reigning in mine.

As I betake to part of my cherished hearth,
And traverse the wintry swathes----
That cloak the earth, the erstwhile warmth;
Yea, the frost hath come again.----

Hail I early morn, the light of dawn,
The skies sanguine-stained.
Tho' the path is long I continue on,
For yon do you await.

Your locks and skin of beauteous ebon,
Your eyes of Gallic beige,
So solace the *****, wearied and lonesome,
'Mid these invernal days.

Will I bear the brunt of winter's clutch
To share with you a lover's gaze,
O worry not, my queenly love,
For anon will I be there.

there's some things that I do
without even realizing
that I probably
shouldn't

like the way I unload the dishwasher
seconds after its done
the ceramics searing my skin ever so slightly
just enough to make my comfortable
uncomfortable

or how I light a match
and calmly watch it's slow descend
allowing it to lick my fingertips for a moment
just to feel the slight
burn

and when I turn the shower water
a little too warm
just enough to feel my body protest
pleading for me to move away
staying still just long enough
for the pain to numb again

or when my stomach begs for food
a piercing pain prompting me to eat
as I ignore it for hours,
days
just enough for my hands to shake
and the world to blur

the way when something hurts me
I let it hurt, silently observing
as if watching to see how much pain I can take
before I ultimately break
wondering if I've
already
broke
been in the drafts for a while

couldn't think of a name so if anyone has any recommendations that'd be great <33

Beneath my ribs, a songbird sleeps,

Whispering truths no one dares to keep.

I thread my wounds through silken lies,

Broken glass beneath soft lullabies.

He moves like shadow, so close, so far,

Reaching for a light that isn’t where we are.

I hush my heart – let it break, let it bleed, unseen.
He's really trying it's heartbreaking, but he doesn't really get it right.

More of just a post.
I'm looking for 300 poets,
New or old,
To write a line.
For a 300 poet poem.
I have one so far,
I'm in need of 299 more.
I don't know if people read my edits to these, but I just wanted to you you all know, you're in such harmony with fellow poets, you're rhyming. :)
Also, feel free to submit more than one line!
I think it'd be a cool thing to try out. Let me know if you guys are interested.
If you would like to participate, write up a line for the poem and private message it to me. Make sure to include your name or pen name in the email that way I can credit you. I will arrange the lines in a way that makes sense to read.
Thanks guys.
