Spring has arisen in thee, a vibrant sunrise,
Melting the winter that dimmed your bright eyes.
A smile, like a blossom, unfolds to the sun,
Hope's melody bursts forth, a battle well won.

The spirit awakens, from slumber so deep,
A new song is whispered, secrets to keep.
Creativity dances, with colors so bold,
A story unwritten, waiting to unfold.

This springtime within you, a beauty to share,
Infectious laughter, dispelling all care.
Let it bloom ever brighter, a radiant display,
Spring has arisen in thee, lighting the way.

When our love feels like the stars, a distant delight,
A glimmering promise, in the vastness of night.
Beautiful, boundless, a source of awe,
Yet cold and untouchable, beyond any law.

Do we yearn to reach them, with genuine desire?
Bridge the impossible, set our hearts on fire?
Or gaze in contentment, at their celestial grace,
Knowing their beauty lights up time and space.

Perhaps love's truest essence isn't to hold,
But to cherish the wonder, a story untold.
A guiding light, even from afar,
When our love feels like the stars, forever we are.
Laughter rings, a joyous sound,
Holi's colors all around.
Reds of joy, like poppy bright,
Yellows dance, with pure delight.

Greens of spring, a hopeful hue,
Blues of laughter, skies so blue.
On skin they fly, a vibrant rain,
Washing worries down the drain.

A woman twirls, a vision fair,
Not for her beauty, but the flair
She brings to dance, with open heart,
In Holi's joy, she plays her part.

Colors blend, a rainbow's art,
A celebration, free of start
And end, a mingling, hand in hand,
The spirit of Holi takes its stand.

The raindrops keep falling, a curtain of gray,
Drumming a rhythm on rooftops all day.
Puddles like mirrors reflect the dim sky,
A world washed anew, with a tearful sigh.

But listen beyond, to the whisper they bring,
A song of the earth, as the flowers take wing.
Dust settles gently, the air cleansed and pure,
A promise of sunshine, forever endure.

For raindrops hold stories, both joyous and sad,
A lullaby whispered, though sometimes quite bad.
But hope always lingers, in each falling tear,
The raindrops keep falling, the world to endear.

Forever the march
   of numbers go.
Endless the universe,
   it seems so.
Finite seems life,
   do we know?
Without sentient beings:
   does it matter though?

Evil Within

For sixty one years I have been mostly
In control except every now and then
But there’s been times when the world
Has caught glimpses of the Evil within

Everyone has this problem but most
Are not as capable and strong
However some remain in complete control
Their Evil never to harm or do wrong

Daily I see the battle unfold before my
Eyes between Evil and the Good
And it breaks my heart knowing that we
never treat each other the way we should

There’s been a shift in the Matrix and more
And more I see Evil slipping through the cracks
The worlds train is derailing and it’s
Running off of its tracks

I can feel it in the Atmosphere unfolding
Before us, I see the Apocalypse begin
And I myself am losing my control
Over my own powerful Evil Within

Are you willing to shoulder
the burden that was left
by those no longer heard

To write those things
they never wrote
inspired by their every word

To take that next step
they never took
to reach beyond their grasp

Clearing the way for those unborn
to pick up the mantle
— embracing the past
