It’s freezing out there today
Nought degrees is what they say
Wrapped up warm hat, coat and wellies on
For a little walk with my Moose so sweet
Making it short so frost doesn’t bite her feet
We agreed time to go back
The cold we just could just not hack
My toes were froze
And so was my nose
Her bare feet on the thick sparkly white frost
Made her move more quickly like a ghost
Onwards home
Into the warm
Hat on head
But back to bed!

Friendship is a precious gift,
someone close that can uplift
your mood, when you feel alone
or down, someone to share the love and care
and be there when you need a friend!

A mother is so special
she gave us our life
mum is the ultimate
the ultimate of life!

You inspire me
With your emotive words of wisdom
You are the key
To my motivation
You help me see
The passion and the pain
Just let it be
Keep up your writing
And your positivity
To all who it is delighting
You surely hold the key!

Look to the future
And what do I see
I see retirement
Looking at me

Then what will I do!
I’ll come back to life
My gardening for true
Walking the dog without any strife
Cooking and cleaning
Writing and dreaming
And of course
More sleep!

I danced to the music
In the moonlit sky
the fireflies danced with me
as the night drew nigh
the air was fresh and cool
the firepit was burning logs for fuel
the bats were flying across the garden
the owls screeching I have to pardon
the feeling was of freedom
in the beautiful garden of Eden!

I whittle
I whine
I’m stressed
It’s the sign

I need
To get control
This stress of mine
Let it roll

What will be
Will be
Need to sort it out
You see

Need to be strong
I’m not wrong
I’ll get there
To be fair!

Shadows on the wall
Orbs floating freely
Ghosts not ghouls
Touched me just nearly

Who are they?
What do they want?

Feeling their presence
I know that they’re there
If only I could help them
I do really care

Is it my family?
Is it a friend?

If only I could hear them
And they hear me
We could talk together
And help them be free!

Good grief
The sky
Oh my oh my
Is so grey today
Looks like it’s going to burst
And shoot golf ball hail stones
at our bones
Or least of all sleet
Or snow …. More neat
But there’s a glimmer of hope
As it sails on by
And now the sky is blue
But the wind
Cuts like a knife
Freezing cold
Minus 3 I’m told!

The cool air
Feels like water to my toes
The sun it out
And brings out the sparkle in Every living thing
The trees, the leaves and the grass
Are being showcased by the sun
The garden is quietly alive with a gentle breeze
Today I think is going to please
it’s going to be a lovely day
I feel it in my bones!
Yet it’s so peaceful and quiet
So calm and relaxed
As everything slowly wakes
The day is dawning
And here it is
A very good morning!

Gorgeous eyes
Windows of the soul
A deep black hole
The colour of coal
Pretty colour iris
green and blue
And speckles of brown
Like a gem
Bright and wide
Clear and kind
Gorgeous eyes

Don’t give me grief
Find yourself a wreath
I wanted to be green
But instead I am red
They drive me senseless
With what they do
I just hope it turns around on them too
Karma I believe
And I hope they receive
And hopefully they will get their just deserts
Especially so , just where it hurts!

As the day turns to night
I fall asleep
I dream of things
Like angels with wings
Of innocent beauty
Doing their tireless duty
Our Guardian  Angels
Keeping us safe
I do believe
I do have faith
It’s A Guardian  Angels duty
Along with their beauty
caring for us Whenever they can!

The beautiful guitar music is playing
making me so entranced
while my heart is saying
my head is swaying
I just want to start praying
so thank you for the music
its so beautiful to hear
makes me shed a tear
and I can play it again year after year
As long as I am still here.

The day is just dawning,

Hey
When I’m old and grey
That isn’t that far away
They won’t be putting me in a home
I’ve decided I will roam!

So off on a cruise, back to back,
Take in the views, eat and snack,
Sit in the sun, have so much fun
Enjoy the shows, anything goes!
I’ll have the time of my life,
Before I die,
There will be no strife,
so don’t even cry!
I’m making the most!
Before I’m a ghost
And enjoy my life whilst I am alive!

It’s so hot right now
Sweat rolling down my brow
Can’t complain
We have had rain
But it’s hot again

Oh how nice
It is to have a glass of ice
Ice packs under my arms
Ice packs in my palms

Can’t complain
Had some rain again
Thunder followed To be fair
But it hasn’t really cleared the air

We always desire the sun
But now I desire the cold
Iceland here I come
I’m still hot despite the ice packs that I still hold!

How lucky am I
As I looked to the sky
Twas five in the morning
Without any warning
I saw a meteorite shower
And again within the hour!

I thought at first
It was a shooting star
My excitement burst
When I realised what they really are

No matter what
What a beautiful sight
How lucky am I
It was a sheer delight!

I am a morning person
But there’s a morning person and a morning person
I’m the one who comes later
Five o’clock in the morning is a bit stiff!
Do you get my jiff?
Well I am at that time
Stiff as a board
It takes an hour to loosen up
With a strong hot coffee cup
And a cake,
A cake will help me wake,
A muffin to you
But that will do!
So once I have woken
Raring to go
Take the dog out for her walk
She loves it you know!
And when We get back
My whip I do crack!
Not really!
Dog now asleep!
The little creep!
I clean the kitchen
Do the bins
Put the washing in
For all my sins
Clean the floor
Wash the door
Fill up the dish washer,
And what’s more?
Oh what would I do without you!!!!!
Well that’s my morning !
As I said I’m a morning person
So now I’m back to bed!!!!!!
The rest of the day
Has gone astray!

I hear an owl out there
It’s hooting loud and clear
I guess it’s only hunting
I guess that’s why it’s here
I’d love to be able to see it
And take a picture snap
But it’s so very very dark
And my photography is crap !

I’d like to skinny dip in a warm open sea
I’d do that  just for me
I’d like to sit in the snow
In a hot tub you know
I’d like to hug all the trees
In the sun lit forest oh please
I’d like to go where the sun shines
And soak it up with a glass of Sauternes wine
That would be divine
I’d like to go cold water swimming
I think it might be slimming
I’d like to dare and do something brave
I’d like to dance on the dance floor
Like never before
I’d just like to!

I dream
Of Living by the sea
It would be heaven for me
Sitting in the window
Having a cup of tea
Watching the waves splash and roll
Looking at the line on the horizon
Dividing the sky and sea
Watching white horses when the sea is rough
And on a hot sunny day
Seeing the azure blue sea
And the deep blue sky
Would be such a treat to an open eye
And to take it all in
I wouldn’t have to try!
Being by the sea
I can hear the waves
And smell the salty sea
Its such a wonderful feeling
A feeling of nature and being so free!

I feel I want to write Just now

It’s sunny now after a dull start,
Brightness fills my heart,
The sun uplifts my mood,
I’m sitting here looking at the garden,
Lush green, birds singing, it isn’t just a dream,
The forecast is thunder,
There’s thunder in my soul,
The buttercups are bright yellow,
The Christmas tree is dying,
This has left me sighing,
I need to plant it somewhere else instead,
The holly bushes have gone rife,
But that is of course no strife,
And the bamboo is quite awesome it’s spread and well fed it’s a treat to see,
We have a lot of green
In our garden in-between the
meadow type of grass,
And Within it own best class!

I woke up to the rain
I felt it in my bones
I feel it in my brain

The rain is here to stay
Yet another day of rain
And thunder forecast today

The plants have already been fed
Too much rain now
They’ll End up drowned or dead

Too much of anything isn’t Very good
So they say
And from where I’m stood

Bring back the sun
To warm my bones and brain
And give the plants some fun

Not ever
I have nothing
If I don't have you!

I’ve known and loved you for so many years
We’ve had lots of laughter and some tears
We had so much fun Since our friend ship began
I’ll always love you and be there when I can !

It makes me feel so good!

It helps me sleep at night!
