The great, green bamboo
is Waving at you
Gently in the wind
The holly trees look so pleased
It’s going to be a lovely day
The grass alas is tethered and torn
From the harsh winter weather morn
The sky is bright
But it’s very white
It’s so quiet
No cause for a riot
As I sit and watch through the window
At our winter garden!
Pray
That someday
There will be peace in this world
Pray
That someday
There will only be love
Pray
That someday
there will be happiness
Pray
That someday
There will be kindness and compassion
Flickering candles
They Dance
Burning the wick
They dance
Some stretching tall
They dance
Some so small
They dance!
Burning bright
They dance
Giving light
They dance
And that’s not all
They dance!
Alright
I write
When
I can
When
I feel
When
I am
In the mood
When
Feeling good
When
Feeling bad
Whenever
I can
It’s still out there
The sky is like a shroud of white
Some trees are bare
Like the weeping willow

By candle light
The evening draws in
Taking day to night
As the light starts to dim

The sound of silence
Hisses like a snake
Without violence
Night inevitably draws in

The evergreens now look black
The green has gone
The darkness is on its way
End of day has come!
I whittle
I whine
I’m stressed
It’s the sign

I need
To get control
This stress of mine
Let it roll

What will be
Will be
Need to sort it out
You see

Need to be strong
I’m not wrong
I’ll get there
To be fair!
When you’re working up to the ultimate moment
And you’re coming to the ******
And then it happens
the earth moves
Shaking
Waking up the dead
Seeing colours in your head
The ultimate excitement
Fireworks in your brain
You’ve done it
You’ve made it
Self assembly is done!
