Would my last breath
Bring you more relief
Than grief?
With the sod replaced
And me underneath,
Would you feel like your life
Was returned by it's thief?
Would your heart
Match your belief?

I’m weary, tired, shadows near,
But like the song, I’ll persevere.
Sick of the struggle, longing for peace,
Yet I’m still standing, my heart won’t cease.

Though feeling done, there’s still a spark,
You know I’ll rise, igniting the dark.
With every challenge, I’ll find my way,
Just like the lyrics, I’ll seize the day.
made to read while listening to I'm Still Standing lol
In quiet starlight beneath twin trees,
Where shadows danced in secret rhythms cast by campfire glows,
Hearts murmured softly to the moon.
Distance grown, lands apart,
Yet, a silent tether held firm.

Trails merge, unspoken flares,
souls in wordless chorus.
This uncharted depth treading lightly upon,
A tale unvoiced,
a memory held beneath twin trees.
thanks to you i can be anything
i have the power of all human beings

all is one

I am Lost

My soul resonates
with the prettiest and darkest things.
I feel and hurt
and live and rejoice
and die and hate
and forgive.
I do it all
in a whirlwind of emotions so no wonder.
No wonder
I don’t know what’s forward or backwards or even what to say
Or do next.
I am so lost.
