We share a surname
We share a life
We bid fond farewells to many but keep them in our hearts
We have a love others may never know
You gave me your heart
You gave me a diamond
We travel and continue more journeys and adventures
We have been patient but it will come around again
You show me love that others wish for and may never encounter
We welcomed new faces and family
We are way Beyond Thank you
And yet, you Thanked me for breakfast earlier today

When examined, and embraced
aloneness is not a punishment,
rather it is an earned pleasure
to foster and savor.
Perhaps one must reach a certain
age and level of maturity to grasp
this concept. My thoughts here are
inspired by a fellow member poet
Sally Bayan and her poem
"Comforting Dark".

A lovely Golden Retriever Puppy barked at me and wanted to play.
Her owner was trying to teach her to walk on a leash so I didn't pet or play with her.
Looked up to the sky and my Skippy was saying Hello and I miss you too.
I almost heard him say I am OK at Rainbow Bridge but whenever you see a Golden walking, I am saying Hello.
When I arrived home looked at his photo and smiled through my tears.

The amazing Norman Lear left us with incredible work
His spirit is always with you if you listen to his words
Amazing philosophy
The most important gift he left was his kindness and humanity
So as Monty Python's song would say, Always look on the bright side of life
What an amazing man!

By saying sorry you don’t change the past.
You change the future.
At least you try.

Someone close to me said, it isn’t worth saying sorry. What’s been said has been said.
It did hurt me hearing that.

Be impeccable with your words
Never assume.
Find the beat, rhythm, notes, and syncopated music that fills your soul.
Find the soundtrack of your life and add to it
The genre should only matter to you and your story.
Country, Rock, Hip Hop, Broadway, Standards, Latin, Reggae
Just sing your songs and keep your memories close to your heart.
You will need them.
Like the first time you made love with your one and only
Your Wedding Song
The theme song to your favorite kiddie show
Soundtrack of your life
