As I stare at the clock upon the wall......since that day the hands don't seem to move at all
Time stands still since the day we drifted apart......and because of this nothing stands in the way of a brand new start

My life has changed on Oh so many ways

Working so hard to change what I can
Losing a grip on reality was never my plan
To regain control of what's real and what means the world to me

The other night I had a vision.....and because of this I had to make a quick decision

At night when I look to the sky....I make a wish that I will back with her before I die...I always pick the brightest one cause I know lt is you.....and forever this is what I will do
When the sun goes dim and I am unable to write....I look to the stars and they give me the light
I will ask the almighty to give me the strength to get through this.....for my wish is to At least to enjoy one more kiss.....I hope and pray that I get my chance ......to prove my love is real....and it is more than just how I feel...to lose it forever is not a choice believe me....so now it is up to me and if I can focus on what needs to be done....please just know this I will no longer turn and run

She helped me when I was down .....when I left her house I was no longer wearing a frown
She had a heart and it was made of gold.......she helped everyone so I was told
I will miss her but she lives in my heart and in my soul every part
I can't even talk tears fall from my eyes .......I know she will watch over me from the skies.

I try to listen with my ears but the only sound I hear is that of silence......I try to see but my eyes there is no vision....in my head it makes no sense
The light of love is within my heart......but to see this you must feel it and of you it must be a part
That light that once was shining so bright has gotten a bit dim....this is why I must relight the fire in my heart deep within
I know this light of love in my heart will regain its power.......I know if we work together we can rebuild this tower
If you look deep within my heart the love light that lives inside will be bright once more and this will happen before we are knocking on heavens door...

Its like I am locked in a box with no way to escape.......I know with this women it will seal my fate
I can see the light from the box..... but to reach it I must break these locks
I put myself in this place...so this challenge I must face
So to free myself from this box and to break the locks......in my head the angel talks
They tell me things that I can't see......for it is all right in front of me
This box is not real......it's there because of what I have done and the way I feel........it's all in my head but it feels so real
If I could somehow steal the Sun from the sky.......it might help me figure out the reason why
For now I am locked inside......so my time I must bide
I will find my own way out.......no longer will I sit  and pout
If this is the way I really feel.......to always know our love was real

it is all because of the sound of laughter.......and everything from thereafter
the beauty of it all was the sign of the bright sun....that kept each of us from being on the run
