As I sit in the gym
My water bottle is full of tears
Thinking of her and my body is in all gears
As I sweat it only comes out of my eyes
My body it burns with the beat of the workout
But my my heart beats for her not the reps
My head is realing even though I am out of steps.
I can't sleep at night I hardly eat
I love her so much and I still compete
I wish I knew what was on her mind
If she even thinks of me
I am so out of whack I don't even act the same
She doesn't even know that this is not a game
One last time I will try to make her see
That living without her is killing me
So tonight. I will try to get some sleep
Alone once again and Every night I will weep

I am focused on what I am after
The key to the next chapter
Clean living and the woman that I love
I have wasted far too much time and I have already seen the signs from above
In my heart and in my head
There was just too much going on
It was either snap out of it or end up dead
My life has been full of obstacles I had to overcome
This is the hardest one by far because my stubborness gets in the way
For my health and my love is the most important
It is not a game I will play
So no more words
It is not my time to fly with the birds

There is this girl that stole my heart
I honestly know we will never part
We have had our problems here and there
But lets make something perfectly clear
I have made a lot of mistakes in my life
And she is not one of them I should never cause her any strife
I love her more than I have ever loved any living thing
And it is in the not too distant future I will give her this ring
Maybe I take too long to do some things
But baby when I think of you my heart sings
She is one in a million the way she has touched me
It will not take much longer for her to see
I will say a few more words
My love for her soars high like the birds.

As I lay on this bed
Thinking of her and wishing my poem was read
She is the best thing that ever happened to me
I Beg and i Plead why can't she see
Eventhough I know I could go on
It is not option because my love for her is beyond compare
The love that we have for each other..  these days it is very rare
As I stare at my face in the mirror
The lines and the grey are getting clearer
All I want now in my life
Is this woman that stole my heart
I. Know we are never supposed to be apart
The mistakes that I have made are ones that should have never been made
I would die for this woman this much is true
It was never my intention to ever make her blue
These sleepless nights and endless days
Is a very good reason for me to change my ways
The sun will never shine
Unless this woman I love  returns to my arms
There will never be another cause she will always be mine.

I have been on earth for fifty years
And in that time I have shed lots of tears
Then along came a woman and much to my surprise she stole my heart and touched me like no other
With the love of April the birth month of my mother
She is the most wonderful and beautiful woman that I have ever met
But leave it to me I ***** things up every chance I get
But one day soon when all my work is done I will drop to just one knee
And whisper sweet and softly will you marry me
This I know and I know in my heart I love this woman with all of my heart
So with all of my will and some of my skill
I shall show this woman just who I am
And prove once and for all that I give a ****.

Hello can you hear me ........can you hear me....I am calling your name.
It echoes back ....nothing
My voice grows weak
My breath is diminished
I don't know what to do
I stagger as I walk down this long and cold road
My feet hurting ..head is spinning
I feel like I have just run a race
And I look up in the distance through the rain and wind I see your face
You look mad discouraged and you quietly look at me and say ....it's going to be ok.....

The sound of music I can barely hear
The Angels voice is crystal clear
She said to me listen my child
For I have an important message for you
The woman you love is drifting away from you
To return the magic to the  land
You must do all that was planned
It won't be easy for she has lost her trust
To stand tall at once this is a must
So to dig down deep I will and follow my heart in front of her
I kneel and pray that I will find my way
Into her heart and into arms where I will stay

My light has been dimed
The smile I once wore proudly has turn to a frown
Not too long ago they both shined
Once I stood tall as you were by My side
Now I walk alone with not even my pride
The time has come to steal the sun from the sky and use it as my guide
For the truest love that I had in my heart
Has broken from my grasp to prove myself once and for all it would be a good start
It was all my fault my mind was not in focus
And it fell apart faster than hocus pocus

Right now  I feel like I just got shot
Alone is how I feel this is not what I sought
I must break these chains
That are holding me down
Or I will end up like that water going down all those drains
One single teardrop today fell from my eye
Just.   Like that quick rain that falls from the sky

I wake every night soaked with sweat
My love for her is on the brink how bad can it get
I toss and turn I can't break free
First I walk then start to run
This feeling I have it never stops
Its in my heart and in my brain
This will never end and it will drive me insane
I can't shut it off just like a switch
It must be love ain't life a birch
I talk about true love like no one has ever seen
But to have and to hold
And stories never to be told
I Must be with her and grow old
In her arms is the only place I feel safe
Without her I am all spaced out
From song to song I sit and pout
With all of my words and my promises of will
I lay here alone and can't get my fill

I try to break from her words of hurt
She has the right for I love her so
I try to walk when I can barely stand
The sorrow hurts from head to toe
I ****** to show the fight
The love i have for her  it is My only light
If only I could see through the darkness
Maybe if I walk instead of crawl
I would not have the guts to end it all
For my one wish and it will come true
Our hands will grasp one another once again for true love the story has no end.

In my dreams I see her face
In my dreams it's all out of place
How do I face today do I dare to face tomorrow my love for her is out of control
For her love I would sell my soul
In my dreams she is so far away
In my dreams I know I can make it ok
Deep inside there is no where to run
I see outside there is no sun
In my dreams I am fading away
In my dreams I can hear you whisper it will be ok

In my eyes I have seen lots of things
In my eyes I've seen diamond rings
In my eyes I've seen lots of cheers
In my eyes I have had lots of tears
Lately the tears have come aplenty
Not this much since I was twenty
In my eyes I have seen lots of woman
Only one kept them open
In my eyes I have seen lots of grief
Some was beyond belief
In my my eyes I have seen an angel
She touched my heart like no other
In my eyes I have seen a way back
I think I will give it a crack
Although my eyes have seen such things
No one knows what tomorrow brings

My heart was ripped my head was twisted..my whole being was out of whack
It may take awhile but I will Be back
People say I am no good and will
never change
But I have news for them because it's not out of range
For the love of this woman I would dare the impossible
And above all do what is responsible
As I live in my head just for today
A lesson I learned because it was taught so well
I will never give up the fight until the final bell.

My world is dark and cold
Before my very eyes things getting very old
I ask when will the sun ever shine
I know she is there and she is mine
As these tears fall from my  eyes
Like a torrid rain falling from the skies
This pain that I hold deep inside
Its going to **** me just like the demons I once tried to hide
My heart feels as it's been ripped from my chest..and even though it was done with my own hands
I wish we could sit and talk so she understands
Until then the sun it never shines
And my heart that once was beating so proudly with love
Will dance once again with sweet sound of that heavenly beat
But right now there is no sound no movement all is still
So the moment comes when I am tested to see the strength of my will
The tears they fall the heart is silent and clouds have overtaken the skies
Very soon it will happen again and the eagle  will spread his wings then hears that sound of the beat of my heart and in the air he flies.

Last night I woke up. In a cold sweat
Thinking of her is my best bet
I twisted and turned couldn't find rest
Woke up for work drowsy but did my best
I can't understand why I do what I do
But she is my one and only love this much is true
The other day I sat on a stoop in the rain
I was soaked to the bone and in so much pain
My heart and my head I can't figure out which hurts more
I know my heart is burnt right to the core
She did nothing wrong it was all me
But this time I know what to do to make her see
Once again I made a mistake
But my love was no fake
Let's just say i  Made a bad choice
So. Let me say this in my shaky voice
My love for her is so strong
And in my heart I know she belongs
In my arms as long as we breathe
I am so afraid that she will leave
I am strong and I will make things right
As long as I live I will never give up the fight
We will be together till the very last light.

Once in a lifetime you find that one
And they mean everything to you under the sun
The feeling you get when you see them
The pounding in your heart when you are with them
Just being with them makes you feel so good
And do for them whatever you could
Just the sparkle from her eyes
Lights up my whole day and brightens the skies
And her touch just stops me cold
I will stay with her and grow old

There is a feeling in my heart
And it has been there from the start

Life is full of doubt
I don't know what it is all about
They say why do you always look so down.always walking around with a great big frown
Because there is only one thing that makes me happy
It is her the only one and I know it sounds sappy
But in this life we find only one
A person with that personality that really grabs you
The one true love that makes your world go no matter what you do
This woman that I love so
Is the one that does this to me
For this can happen to all of you
You will find a love so true
As long as I live I will be by her side
When the time comes we will be washed away with the tide

When I look deep in my soul And into my heart
The pressure of life is killing me and I knew it from the start
As the earth spins around in circles and the sun goes dim
All of it gets clearer to me
A while back I was just too blind to see
Time does not stand still it waits for no one
So here and now is the time for fun
When I was young I had lots but trouble and pain always found me
And little did I know that it would follow and make me the man I was to be
As I grew older friends would leave and all the people that I thought were close
They just used me to pass there time and they would leave as fast as the river flows
I wish I learned lifes lessons sooner to save myself some pain
But now as the time grows near I got a gift from heaven above
She is the one that I truly love
So the time that I have left I will use it wisely
For what the future holds I will not know but I will hold on  as tight as I can until it is time for me  to go

The days are short and the nights are long
Every time I hear that song
For this woman she is my life
Someday I know she will be my wife
She hypnotized me with her stare
My love for her I would never share
Her skin so soft and her eyes that shine
I am so glad she ie is mine
I love to watch her as she sleeps
I will catch her tears when she weeps

For awhile I was lost in my head
All I could think about is I wish I were dead
I was really messed up doing bad things
And taking a lot of bad things
But then in my life took a turn for the better
Along came a girl and blew me away
She just stared in my eyes and I knew everything was going to be ok
Although I almost threw it away because of stupity
It was a little bit like serendipity
I hope that she knows what her love does to me
Because for the first time in years I actually opened my eyes and I could truly see

So right now in my life I do know exactly what I must do
So all of my dreams don't stop coming true
This girl that came out of my dreams and into my life
She got rid of all of my strife
So with these last words that I will write
I will say that when I look in her eyes the sparkle so bright
It puts me in a trance that turned into love
So I thank the stars and the lord above

Love is a powerful thing

Everyday I dance with joy
Just like when I was little and my parents bought me a new toy

I thank God that I am alive

The day started early work at five
Always thank God I am alive
Showered and shaved ready to begin
It's a good feeling when you have the key so you can get in

And knowing how to act it's such a relief
To spend the evening with her is a must

The timing couldn't be more right
To kiss and hold her through the night

As I run around work like a crazy man

I don't need any reminders for her love gives me that

My job started getting easier

So as life has no longer got me down

I made a deal with my inner self
I put all the bad in my life on the shelf
And then in turn I found a woman

You had to cover your heart for it may rust
The strength within pulled you through
The puzzle that had many pieces missing and out of place some gone without a trace
Now it seems it's all back and they fit
And what you knew all along was the biggest one that you couldn't find or figure out
It was her all along you didn't even have a clue
She stepped back in and now it is all crystal clear
That Angels are everywhere

It was a special day she made me feel loved in every way
It has been a long hard road
One we should not have been on so I have been told
Things in the past we will keep them there
They will be there to remind us this we fear
But for now and forever
