Five friends decid3d to go on a picnic,
1st friend: I will bring the main dish,
2nd friend: I will bring nnacks and tea,
3rd friend: I will bring a sweet dish
4th friend: I will bring juice and sodas,
They asked the 5th friend,"What will you bring?"
5th friend:I will bring my smalll brother.

Has strengthened the bond between my children, grandchildren and me,
They love and enjoy reading my poems,
They send me comments on WhatsApp,
I reply to them with emojis of love.

Aroma scented magnolias
In the air sweet sensation
Filled with shades of white
Lingering fragrant carry
           In the air
Each little square of grass
Feels soft along the rocks
Sweetness is everywhere
Summer is near
Enjoy the sweetness

Though many years have passed,
I  still miss you,
But I feel your presence everyday.
I have treasured a piece of your everyday wear with me,
And whenever I miss you -quite often,
I touch, feel and smell your clothes,
It gives me joy as if you have just hugged me.
You are always with me mum,
In the bangles you gave me,
In some of the same food tastes we share,
In some gestures and habits I have you,
Some say,"You look like your mum".
