u called that poem 'burning virgins in oil,'
I reply needlessly, saying: 'yeh' -
alter-ego sa-is then: 'don't u mean - boiling in
oil - the heinous medieval torture reserved
for heretics & suspected witches -
I laughed to myself: 'those guys were amateurs;
I'd set the oil on fire, hence: -'
'burning virgins in oil;' - 'quite', I concluded.

there's so much I could do if I drank myself blind;
I'd meet new people
& fall down new stairs;
I'd pass out in places I've never been;
I'd wake up in stranger places; maybe
           under a bridge or in a strange
                      woman's bed in Brooklyn; maybe in
                                                     her mother's bed;
if I drank                                so much I became incoherent
I could claim                               to be profound & haughty (everybody loves drunken poets)        :                   .                    .                         .
             like, u wouldn't    understand;
drunk & stupid is a good look I think;
I said to my buddies, let's go pick up ugly girls;
they were incredulous, but I told them
the pretty girls are always out w/ ugly girls; & if u hit on the ugly one the pretty one
will get jealous & try to cut in on her friend's action - tad-a!
