A Billion Stories
Book II: The Human
Part III: Telescopic

My mind is searching,
As it seems.

Star-speckled blackness
I can't see.

Book II: The Human
Part II: Incomplete Civilizations

A sheep must do better than hiding.
The maker is under the weeds.
The seeker does nothing but doubting.
The finder does nothing but read.

A Billion Stories
Book II: The Human
Part I: A Billion Minds

A billion years of contradiction,
A billion stars hide in the sky.
A billion miles,
Billion questions,
A billion minds in wrong directions.

Book I: The Wreckage
Part III: Spirit Sightings

The knife in my hand,
The dreading souls seek;
Vengeance, really is all they plead,
For what I see is heaven's peak;
A knife can't harm a forest.

Part II: Make-Believe

I believe in what I see,
No need for blinding fantasies,
My consciousness is clear as ice,
And what I know will not desert me.

What I find, when I go east,
What I hear amidst the years,
When I know I'm at my peaks;
My eyes have faded,
And my mind is not so clear.

Part I: Demolition

Look at the wave,
I cannot breathe,
A maple in the forest.
A timer ticks infinitely,
A globe that couldn't save its face.
I gaze across the evergreens,
Each had its own life story.
They fell along the battlefront
And lost their lives and glory.
Each stump was bloodied
And was thrown,
Into a broken honor.
To watch the maple's swaying leaves,
To ponder of its journey.
