When?
well, then
when?

Questions we ask
from behind the
mask.

I asked them
then
asked them again

no one talks to me anyway
and anyway it's just another
isolation day anyway.

Late lunchtime,
crunch time
just for a change
I'm eating the pasta raw.
Each tear, that falls brings your healing  one step closer.
Each tear, cleanses your life one tear more on the earth.
Each tear, drawls you one more step into seeing a Miracle.
Each tear, was shed because I felt so broken on the inside.
Each tear, I cried through all of my sorrow and pain here.
Around street corners,
On dimly lit sidewalks,
She’ll come back to you.

As a burnt cigarette drops at your feet,
And you let out your last warm gasp of nicotine,
She’ll come back to you.

As you feel the cold on your bare cheeks,
And zip your sweater all the way up,
She’ll come back to you

Outside the liquor store on 8th street,
With a brown bag in one hand,
She’ll come back to you.

As she takes your other hand in hers,
And burns through you with her smile,
She’ll come back to you.

With warm brown eyes that feel like home,
And skin you could melt into at any second,
She’ll come back to you.

With her kiss,
And her sweet red lips,
She’ll come back to you.

When your head hits the pillow,
And your mind looks for its favorite story,
She’ll come back to you.

In the night.
In your dreams.
She’ll come back to you.
May we never ever
take life for granted again.
Look me in the eyes
look if you dare
tell me all your lies
and ask me if I care.
Well, okay I accept defeat
but I would like to say
your lies were pretty neat.
Your father used to call you “mouse”
When you were wild within his house
Just a mouse, before we kissed
Before our vivisectionist

Used our eyes to test
What tears would make them redden best
Before love made you strip for me
Inside it’s dark laboratory

Stopped me to your hidden shae
And made you re-appear
A super-mouse, wearing the cape
Of a human’s unlistening ear
Can’t break out of my cloak of. Lies,
Can’t breathe, only choke, Green skies
In the water, to drown, seems a lullaby
Can’t seem to see anything anymore, Only green skies.
