Sunlight hits their face
It’s their favorite pass time
Waiting for the time of day to warm and protect their hair
As they walk through the mountain air
Be so secure and be so happy
Someday you’ll know how to be whole without the sun
Whole without the half that comes and goes
Whole without the sentiment of growing old
Whole without the heat of summer rays
Whole without the pain of summer days

My life is a biway
Surrounded by a highway that’s busier Than ever and it keeps passing me by
You know I’ve never ever been this way
Locked away
Astray from all my other thoughts, sitting In my room, feeling like I’m in a box.

No one knows the struggles I’ve been Through
No one knows the hoops that I’ve jumped Through.
No one knows the oceans I’ve crossed,      God knows it’s been a lot. But either way, I’ll be happy this way

They say that peace is a refuge, well I Think it’s hell, when you’re sitting alone Thinking of all the wrong. All the evil gets To you and you just don’t know what to Do..
(But then I pray)

I’ll be happy this way, God knows the Answers and I should trust His promises, Until I pass away, it may not be easy but Really nothing is
A poem/song I wrote when I was feeling down, I lifted my problem to God, and felt relief.

Once there was a kid
A kid who had the blues and broke the Rules
Shallowed in his own hues, obsessed with The brand-new’s
to the stage he’s queued, without any Boo’s the crowd goes wild and precedes To stay true.

He dreams of the louvre
A simple groove that can’t be smoothed
In his mind these simple rules That can’t Be moved
Tripling down his every fluve
Is a dream

A dream of a cove
With every hope and every boat
It burns like a stove
And curves like a *****
He copes and he hopes that these dreams Will leave
Like a magic envelope the letter is sealed
Forever more to not be healed
A little poem I wrote, Hope you enjoy. -SethE
