Griselda De Anda
a piece of silly laughter next to a stab of pain

Poems

Iraira Cedillo Mar 2014
Griselda gratz kept sixty cats,
She fed them very well
On angel cakes and raisin flakes and acorns in a shell.

Her furry crowd patrolled,meowed
About her tiny house,
Griselda gratz kept sixty cats,
To catch a single mouse.
he once brazed her with coke
that her millennium was solid rock
as Griselda went toe to toe
but trafficked crack by 2012
while coffee was her mainstay
that her valley would meet the sea,
her proponent in Antioquia
when she'd expedite crack for FARC

I think I’ll call her Griselda or Florentine of the sea
She is lovelier than a star fish with eyes of green
And hair twists around this, brown ringlet, queen
Constance of graciousness a madamoiselle’s dream
Mood matches her dresses, bohemian with a spark
And nothing deters that subterranean love heart.
