I too...
wake up sometimes
longing to touch you
to taste
tease
tempt
and excite you
I want to wake you up
with soft lingering kisses
and tender rhythmic touches
I want to slide my tongue
deeply within you
playfully persistent
until your back arches
and your breath catches
I want your spirit to soar...
before your eyes
are even open
I want to give to you
the passion
joy and love
that you have hungered for...
I want you
to begin each day...
fulfilled.
You're so proud
Breaking all these fragile hearts around
But you're just as weak
As all the hearts you've caused to weep

She loved me
and I threw it away.

The holidays are here
and the cold has frosted my heart.

I see everybody falling in love
and I'm reminded of you.

How lonely I've become
and how bitter I feel.

I miss you.
I miss the very concept of you.

All my cocoa has long since been frozen
and my porch has long since been a slick sheet of ice.

I suppose that all I really want this year
is to be warm again.
I'm sorry I'm so selfish.
I'm sorry to write such a thing after what I've done.
I'm so so sorry to express such unfair desires.
But most of all, I'm infinitely full of regret.
I don't expect anything from these words, but I just wanted it to be known..

They say you're an innocent girl
but those nicotine stained fingers
and those long-sleeve shirts in the Summer
tell a different story.
I love you
And you'll never know
For I never say so

It's you
Residing in my thoughts
The reason behind
The ink being spilled
Into these papers

It's you
These words are
Pleading to stay
In between the lines
That I say

I shouldn't
But I need you
More than I thought
I should
And could

When you said
That you like to read
I immediately
Wanted to make you
A whole library

And maybe for you
I'd write even
The ones
I never thought
I would

I think I can remember a time
when skinned knees hurt more
than a broken heart.
What I wouldn't give to have that again.
