BRAG NOT
My arms folded watching you
Waiting for the result of what you do
You brag to make it looking new
Keeping balk till the time is due

The paws are crying
But the claws are flying
The whale has fail
But the fish don’t wail

Don’t say because you are big
You can climb up the fig
For the whale and the tiger
Are bowing the fish and the eagle

Don’t swank as the captain
Cos you can’t move the mountain
Don’t swagger with your brain
For your death you can’t abstain

BLUE MAN
Empty blue man on the desert,
Whom all hearts have rejected
He walks alone bathing with dirt,
Such a life he never expect
No tree can he get shade,
No water from the cascade
No hope for his escape,
In the darkness for decade
If you are part of his worry,
He will find you and say sorry
But when he finds you guilty,
Just accept human frailty
He loves all, all loves him not
He loves not, that loves him much
When he trust you, you disappoint him
He still trust you, you don’t believe him
Sadness in the river, drowned in it a day
Crying all over, how can he repay
Empty blue man on desert,
Cleans all his tears

RUNAWAY FRIEND
Lonely I am on the sea desert
Abundant food, drink and dessert
But I can’t eat, drink nor rest
Because there’s no shoulder to rest

Beautiful sunshine I see
Soothing wind blow I feel
My companion can’t see
A wonder touch can’t feel

We came in two, thus me and you
Wouldn’t have come without you
To be with mum, dad and Jule
Playing cards, chess and cue

Now that you brought me here
Please don’t leave me alone
The lonely darkly night I’ll fear
Scary sounds of whispering tone

A bird appears to give company
The pirate from sea to give me money
I let them go to leave me lonely
For what I know you are my only

In desert sand my feet drown
Hands are stretched but yours down
On reaching you, you’re far away
I want you back for just today

I am afraid, it’s getting dark
Wind blowing me away to the shark
No food no water, skin start to crack
Watching me dying, your mind is black

I’m running after you
Because we came in two
You can’t leave me blue
For heart to break in two

Admittance
It feels good to be hurt
Cause it makes you a serpent
To be watchful before you move your step
And thoughtful after you mend your heart

Falling from a tree gratify
For it makes you a cheetah
After all, you had descended
And it’s so fast and faster

It is like this today
Tomorrow in another way
Admit it and stay
Soon it'll be okay

Today's situation makes you
Careful and vigilant tomorrow
Recall and rectify the happen
Forget yesterday and move on

In your new endeavor
You will never get hurt
And you will never fall
Cos you’re already down

Deception
At this far the heavens meet the oceans
In their proximity, they are split screens
Like the black cat and the panther
They're family but not from same anther

You see only one green forest afar
Within it, separate trees as spar
As the lizard and the alligator
They seem kin, but opp gladiator

The river flows into the sea
But they have different scree
Like the albatross and the gull
Necropsy shows not same skull

Similar is different from same
Even when having ditto name
As twins share resemblance
They prove contrast semblance

One can be deceived by similitude
Especially, the one in beatitude
Delve profoundly to select rationally
to avoid submitting oneself to slavery

Goodbye
The flowers we’re watering, the sun make’em shiver
the mount we’re climbing, turned us back rather
the sweet soft margarine has now turned soda
Oh! Miss Catherine, oh! Miss Ida

Why do you turn the light off by saying goodbye?
why do you turn the song off while dancing so high?
why do you turn the face off, we’ll want to see your smile
we never wished you go, can’t say goodbye

See the children, they all cry
and the oldies, how they try
to see you standing the way so far
like twinkle, twinkle, little star

We won’t forget the time we spent
in classroom, around the school
We won’t regret the love we sent
straight from our heart, feel so cool

But we know, you have to go
in this our world, it must be so
you came from somewhere, where you belong
you flipped down here, can’t stay so long

As you take your flight, we say farewell
with tears in our eyes, our heart has fell
we love you so much that pen can’t write
Oh! Our beloved – can’t say goodbye
This poem was dedicated to our lovely colleagues who left abroad

False Story
They are very creative
Local black native
Creating story about me
Magnifying what they see

Giving oration about who I am
Putting in my inbox a hundred spam
Invoking a lament at my back
I'll call this "midday attack"

What is not there, they paint it clear
They made me black with no ear
The light on the art bright so dim
And gave it a note, "be ware of him"

Sharing free copies in just a day
Spreading my dark image with no delay
Preaching me in a car
Broadcasting me afar

Local black native
You're so creative
You said what is not
So let's meet in court
