Your voice is my music at the end of the day
Symphonic feelings to take me away

Watching a sunset as we talk on the phone
Always together though standing alone

Through one tiny speaker, it’s you that I hear
Dreaming tomorrows, wishing you near

We’ve a good connection, yes that is a start
Still minutes are passing and we’ll have to part

But soon comes tomorrow and when it’s that time
I’ll be holding my phone, awaiting that chime

For this I do know, when your name is displayed
I'll hear that sweet music at the end of my day

"I love you"*
The words that no one wants to say too early.
The words that no one wants to say too late.
The words that everyone wants to say eventually.

You'll never know...
When you'll be head over heels
The most enchanting feeling in the world
Your unknown desires, it reveals
A current in you will endlessly twirl

You'll never know...
When happiness fills your heart
Having a precious bundle of joy in your arms
You'll realize in your life, he's the most important part
Not forgetting, he'll make the best morning alarms

You'll never know...
When your heart will be scrunched
Like a ball from a piece of paper
Feels like your chest is being ruthlessly punched
Your skin peeled off with a serrated scraper

You'll never know...
When a friend will turn his back
Whose hand you held, all these years
Intentionally causing an emotional attack
In disbelief, you gather invisible tears

You'll never know...
When you'll be caught in an unexpected plight
Daily reflections occur, due to lack of wisdom
To ease your dark path, you yearn for a ray of light
Nothing much you can do except to crave for freedom

You'll never know...
When the time comes, you might bleed to death
Tears will flow drowning your skin
As you breathe your last breath
You wish you had more time to atone for your sins
You'll never know what and when things will happen..

Funny thing about the cold,
it’s always sure to make us aware of when
our hands are empty.
Leaves us searching for
a warmth that doesn't want us back.

It gets to know us best when we’re undressed.
It tracks our naked bodies between
idle bed space and the holes in our sweaters.

We’re left no choice but to
pencil in the details
between the real and imaginary,
as it nips our ears with frigid whispers—
plants its frostbitten doubts
in the warmest corners of our minds.

The only traces it leaves behind
are a lonely shiver, a ghostly breath,
and the notion that we can never
solely keep ourselves warm.

Firewalker
I sit in my pit all alone,
A ladder of words I was thrown
so I ascend on words Known,
and unknown,
on my way to my throne,
once hesitate,
I came upon self-hate,
so I quicken my pace,
on a word so divine,
I stepped into a world,
of sunshine,
