Spermatozoa’s can
swim up fallopian
tubes, but given the
opportunity they are
also capable of flight.

If your eyes well up
with tears while you
are standing, don’t
worry, you are not
flooding, we’re only
70% water, so it is
just a capillary issue.

Spirit levels have a
                  bubble which keeps
them right side up.
                  When one considers
that humans are 70%
                      H2o and the moon
can move entire oceans
              from east to west daily,
then it is imperative that
               we keep our head and
shoulders above our
           waterline and that is why
we are more prone at
            night, when we are lying
flat, to drowning in sorrows.

There was but a soft
           rounded chard of sea
sanded glass, edge
              ebbed by tides, in a
Wild Atlantic Way.

        The cork, no doubt was
bobbing in a wave wash
     wilderness and only for a
soggy poem, it brought
              us no other message.

Donkeys of Gaza have no
time for gazing or no place
for grazing and all of your
                  life you’ve been amazing
while sun and the gun all
                   around you were blazing.
When was the last time
                    you walked on the grass
your days were all timed
                       by the sandy hourglass.
Donkeys of Gaza, without
                     a headstone, I’ll pay you
homage. No, you’re not alone.
