Canines have evolved

faster then any in the

animal kingdom.

They wear coats, even

shoes, occasionally.

They moved out of their

kennels indoors.

Initially they slept on a

floor rug, but that is a

rare sight now.

They sleep on couches

and at night, in beds.

Squirrels are still burying

nuts, dogs gave up the

internment of bones many

years ago.

Dogs have been to space

and ye olde sea dogs are

not just in fairytales.

Dogs are our best friends

because they know exactly

how to manipulate people.

Next time you see them

share a lead, ask yourself,

which of the two is Alpha?

How does you partner cope,

some say it is like sleeping

with a schizophrenic.


I was told that a dark room

with the sound of water

is a tremendous help.
