Here the pines blush
in the cloud's embrace
the sky comes low
falls for earth's face

the winds kiss
long lines of wood
fog weaves dense
peace of solitude

Here the curves
meanders blind
on magical turns
stumbles mind

all inner demons
the high lands slay
on angel's wings
you fall love's prey.
I love you, Bhutan.
I don’t think anyone could understand…….

The sun seems dimmer today. The mountains seem small.. Even the sunrise and sunsets, the flowers and the sea all beautiful in their own right now seem quaint, mildly cute in their attempt or pleasant at best. Mere sparks, worthy of mention but not focus……

What are these but limited ephemeral things in comparison after witnessing beauty the size and effect of a Super nova, the colors of a forming Galaxy, feeling the warmth and size of a red super giant star, what attraction can they possibly have when in the clutch of a collapsed star where not even light can resist? I saw, witnessed and felt all these things whilst my eyes closed,,,,, and I kissed you………………………………

Mutual...
Like the beach,
sparkling with radiance.
Openly welcoming the soothing
caress of the waves.
Allowing them to
playfully tug
at her toes
before retreating back
into the ocean tide.

Mutual...
Like the leaf,
that shines amber
in the autumn sun.
Silently inviting the wind
to sweep it off the threats
of the brittle twig.
Trusting the breeze to set it aloft,
in a whimsical spiral
before releasing it gently
into the safety of the ground below.

Mutual...**
Like you and I.
As we confidently
match each other's
gait in a display
of song and dance.
Though our exchange
remains unworded,
the promise of love
rings clear within
the clasp of your
willing hands
in mine.
Somewhere in the red lands
thick with oils, she painted sands
clay hills of rouged mud rain
a sliver layered blue, a sun sky yellow
that broke from rust colored rain, from clouds of brown
it was found, a prominent grey, a white washed shell
stark amid the scorch of desert
a piece of ocean that from her pocket fell.
